I've heard rumours that it's going to be developed for the Wii U but i hope that it is developed for other consoles as well because as it is i don't see myself buying a Wii U.
I would rather have a fully-fledged Kingdom Hearts 3 on consoles than all these handheld spin-offs but i guess the main market for Kingdom Hearts is Japan and they all love their handhelds.
Why would someone disagree with that? The writer IS a woman.
@Brosy Poor battery life, really? My Vita lasts longer than my 3DS ever did. And if the games are so 'low quality' then why are there already 7 games for the Vita with a higher than 80 metascore?
It's a she btw ;)
My Precious console? I'm primarily a PC gamer.
Also you're forgetting that these consoles are 6 or 7 years old, what do you expect?
I'm not talking crap about Source, im currently using Source Engine to mess around with in terms of game development through using Hammer. I'm just pointing out that it is aging, this isn't a Source Vs Consoles debate. I was talking about the PC versions of the engines, they are far better than Source on there equivalent platfo...
I have a gaming PC just to let you know. I have a GTX 580 and an i7-2600k and i can play Half-life 2 And portal 2 and any Source game at high frame-rates with no lag.
Portal 2 on PC does not make Uncharted 3 last gen at all, it looks nice but considering when it was released it isn't as good as some of it's competitors on PC. Compare it to something like Metro 2033 or Crysis or BF3 and it looks old.
Also, the current consoles can handle Source engine more than fine, P...
The Vita sold 74'674 First Edition Bundle Units in the US. The sales for the Actual launch haven't come in yet.
I love how he mentions the Elder Scrolls games, anybody remember that Horse armour? What a waste of money.
Day-One DLC is completely un-acceptable in my opinion, when you pay $60 (or £40 in my case) for a brand new game you expect to have everything included with that complete package.
If they made this DLC in the 3 months between the day when the the game went Gold and now then it should be included as a free day one download for those people who buy the game new a.k.a E...
'If the hardware market fails to meet the developers expectations'
This coming from a company who are still using an outdated engine that really pales in comparison to any of the newer engines like CryEngine 3 and Unreal Engine 3 and can run on very low-end computers which can be seen as a good thing but Source is really beginning to show its age.
What i want to see is them actually develop a new engine before they go about making new hardware, Valve are good at Distr...
Killzone and Resitance titles for the Vita are already coming and we have the Metal Gear Solid HD collection (It's not a stand-alone title but it's still Metal Gear) coming soon as well.
I agree with every title in that list, they are all awesome games and i would love to see them on the handheld.
I would definitely add Ratchet and Clank to that list as well, Size matters on the PSP was good and if they were able to translate a console version of Ratchet and Clank to t...
You've obviously never got laid because PC Gaming isn't dead.
If you look those are the numbers from the week ending February 18th, the numbers displayed for the Vita are from sales of the First Edition Bundle only.
The 3DS doesn't completely replace the DS though, i'd much rather play DS games on my DS because the 3DS does a horrible job of scaling them.
That title is ridiculously misleading because
1. You can transfer PSP games to the PS Vita the article itself is talking about the UMD passport program.
2. Nowhere at any time have Sony said it's our fault.
It's not supposed to be a replacement for the PSP. It's meant to be a brand new console that you buy to play the games made for that console.
Yangus. You comment on every single Vita article with negative comments and it's quite clear to see that you're a 3DS fanboy.
And yes Metal Gear is coming to the Vita, they are releasing the Metal Gear Solid HD collection on the Vita:

Also, it's not a 'psp with better graphics'.
That's...
Well that title wasn't sensationalist at all...
Because any kind of spinning disc drive is bulky and draws a lot of power. By opting for cartridge based games they can improve leading times and decrease size and power draw. Also cartridge based media is cheaper.
Since when did Console Games cost $100 and games for the Vita cost $50?
Uncharted, the most expensive Vita game, costs $50 and most Console games retail at $60. This guy definitely sounds like a 'gaming industry veteran' as he claims in his Bio.
Plus, i don't really want to pay $1000 for an iTV (Or whatever overpriced price it will be) to play $1 shovelware on. I'd much rather buy a $300 TV and get a console.
