Burnout, GTA and Lumines can all be played on the Vita if you transfer them across from your PS3 they just aren't available on the PS Store on the Vita because they haven't be tested 100% working.
As for Remote Play an update is in the works that will allow all PS3 games to be played via Remote play and developers have the option of including a Vita Specific 480p mode within the game.
The whole issue of backwards compatibility is a strange one to me, some gamers like it because they can play there old games but in a year or two no-one will use the feature that much because there will be enough actual Vita games.
Take for example the DS and DS lite had GBA backwards compatibility but Nintendo removed it in the DSi.
Yet another sensationalist headline trying to grab views.
This issue has been posted before but this site is trying to grab hits by making up a BBLOD 'story'.
It's easily fixed as well although looking at the youtubers comments he seems to be refusing to follow the guide on how to solve it and is ignoring all advice, it's a lost cause.
The issue has been reported before, it's just been re-posted under a sensationalist headline to grab site views.
To fix it all you do is hold the power button down for 30 seconds to power it down and then turn it back on again.
Are you sure those numbers are real?
There's no source and no evidence, i could pull numbers like that out of my arse and make them seem plausible.
Built in GPS is on the 3G model only ;)
Yeah it's the 32gb one that costs $99.99.
They don't even have a 32gb one in the UK, we've only got 4, 8 and 16gb cards.
Lumines is not the best Launch Title for the Vita.
The highest rated launch titled on metacritic is Rayman Origins so get your facts right. (Rayman is an amazing game and if you haven't already played it you should)
Articles they like this annoy me for a couple of reason:
1. They ALWAYS go on about the $250 price, everybody was wow'ed by the fact that Sony announced a $250 for the PS Vita which at that time was a direct competition to the 3DS ...
That's the reason i have the developer preview installed on my laptop in favour of Windows 7 because it boots in about 20 seconds compared to the 1 minute or more i was looking at with Windows 7.
It's called Nico Nico Douga and a Youtube app is coming in the future.
As for flash support there won't be any because adobe is dropping flash support on all mobile platforms in favour of HTML5.
Yet it has 5 Launch games that are scored 80 or higher on metacritic and you are calling them mediocre?
There is a whole range of titles for the Vitas launch and more than enough to last quite a while, i personally think it is a very good line-up. Maybe not the best but not far off either.
I'm paying £275 for a 3G Model, 8gb Memory card and Rayman Origins.
The controller is meant to be used on the 360, not the PC.
This article is lame.
I'm sorry but internet via bluetooth, seriously?
Must be a really slow news day or something if that's considered news.
Disgusting act? You do realise he is on the sex offenders list for being seen naked as a child, not anything major like rape...
I see what you mean, i just mis-interpreted what you were saying as in i though you were saying Crossplay is an Issue, rather than How crossplay is handled is the issue.
There is one company that have the 16gb in their bundles, if you go to www.gamestop.co.uk they have a Wi-Fi only Vita, Uncharted and a 16gb memory card for £269.99 (the same price GAME is selling there 8gb bundle for)
I'm mainly going to be using Physical games so the 8gb Amazon bundles is fine for me but that bundle is good for those who are going Digital only or mainly digital.
Issue? How is crossplay an issue.
I'm getting Golden Abyss, Wipeout 2048 and Rayman Origins. I can't wait till wendesday.
Yeah IGN showed a video of how to do it, they got MGS: Peace Walker to work even though it's not on that list. He even managed to get his saves off his PSP and onto the Vita.
