I'm still playing Gran Turismo 5! I don't need another one yet XD
One thing that i find awkward about mobile gaming is lack of physical controls. Yes they may be more powerful than the vita in years to come but i don´t want to spend hours playing touchscreen games because in the end your thumbs become sore from rubbing against a screen all the time.
What i want is a dedicated Gaming Handheld with actual controls and enough power to give brilliant graphical fidelity, the vita can do that and much more.
I have to admit i am looking forward to both of these, the movie and the game. Because with Naughty Dog they manage to tell not just a good story but one that sucks you in and holds you there for the duration of the game.
Now if that can be transfered into the movie business it will be a brillaint film.
Agreed, people are expecting another game like A crack In Time when in reality it was never meant to be that in the first place.
The point of a review is to cover all the points of a game but i can't help wondering if those reviwers giving it bad scores have ever actually played the Co-Op Portion of the game (The greatest portion of it)
Neither do i, although i suspect that some of those people giving it bad Reviews are those who have only played the Single-Player Portion of the game and gone into the Co-op section which is where the fun really starts.
If you want more Ratchet and Clank then i definitely suggest you get it because it is a brilliant game.
@grailly Dude i said over 2 years, Battlefield 3 has been in development for 3+ at least. Also if you have actually played the beta in the last 2 days almost all of the 'big' bugs have been fixed.
Anyway the beta itself isn't about testing out the game it's about testing out the Server back-ends.
They won't distribute the current version of the game as it has now gone gold and the current version is the final version. Also they weren't testing the game client, they were testing the server back-end so they could improve that for release.
Also for you point b) How is player feedback rendered pointless? There is a little thing nowadays called a PATCH and said patch could include updates based on player feedback.
@grailly Really? The game is rushed, that's funny considering that it's been in development for over 2 years (The average development cycle of a COD game).
You're basing your opinions on a beta? You do understand what that word means right.
Beta doesn't mean 'glorified demo' as some people seem to think nowadays.
If you care to read the Battlefield blog or some other news source then you will see that all the 'kinks' are ironed out in the retail game.
You better be trolling.
Hype has been raised by +10
Can't wait to get my hands on one.
@digitaledge It's a higher capacity battery than the 3DS'es in the first place almost double that of the 3DS.
And second of all, affordable battery tech that will get the battery life you seem to expect is non-existant.
The problem is not with the manufacturers though, it's with the battery tech itself. Batteries haven't been re-invented for years and they just aren't good enough to support the powerful tech that companies are coming up with nowadays. For the Vita to get similar battery life to the 3DS (or better or worse) yet have the power that it has is remarkable in itself.
To all those who disagreed to @ConanOBrien . Why? Sony already have a high capacity battery within the vita anyway, the battery tech just isn't good enough to make one that would last any longer. But by providing users with the option to purchase and officially supported External Battery is a good move.
This article is mis-leading it states that the Ac adapter and USB cable are 'must-have' accessories and gives a price. Yet those 2 accessories are included in the box when you buy a Vita.
Also half those accessories aren't really must-have, you don't need 4 cases surely. One with the capacity to hold all you need is more than enough.
Although i will probably be buying the portable charger as i often go long periods of the day when i am not ne...
@2pacalypsenow The problem is if you install a game and play it it's your computers hardware that determines the quality yet with OnLive all that really matters is that your computer works and you have a connection that will support it, no need to fork out $600-$1000 for a gaming PC
Yet i live in the UK and get amazing graphics if i connect to US servers....
Lolol, i only just noticed you posted on this Acidic XD.
I agree with you though, sites who post stories like this shouldn't be able to post them through to N4G
This was the case with the PSP, so it's not that big a deal.
