It's a great game, and it's very hard.
The story takes some turns you just don't see coming. It was executed superbly and gives you a lot of food for thought.

I agree with you. Some DLC has been so great that I can't wait to get back to playing the game (Episodes from Liberty City, Red Dead's Undead Nightmare, Killing Floor, etc.,)
But not all DLC is made equal and some of it is blatant rip-off scams, like Saints Row The Third, that game didn't need any DLC and it was all just petty rip-off stuff. $3 - $4 just to wear a costume you can't even customize or to access stuff ALREADY IN THE GAME. That was fail.

Haven't you heard? Post-production development costs are rising. It costs an arm and a leg now just for a game to sit on a store shelf and pubs can't afford it anymore.
In order to make games less broke you're gonna have to pay for the patches, it's the only way pubs can survive. Selling 10 million copies isn't enough to break even and at $80 a pop with $20 on-disc DLC, the pubs need to justify staying in the business. Hence, patches and title updates will...

I like Altair better than Ezio but AC2 just owned up in every single way imaginable. It was brimming to the rim with content. THAT game was worth $60.
All those idiots who payed Capcom for SFxT DLC back in April/May and said that on-disc DLC makes it easier to get screwed.
Who honestly doesn't have RE4 at this point? How can you call yourself a gamer and not already have this on at least two devices (unless you're American, in which case you might only have it on one device because the economy is so screwed up and you're probably really poor)?
