Oh great, PlayStation goes onLive, that will get me fired for sure:)
Geotwat
Hell yeah, now gimme some more!
What is a pope? Who's God?
Faction neutral Aquisition and Domination maps, now that's good news. Only untill the 30th, let's hope if succesfull they keep it that way. I remember it was such a relief when Sabotage became faction neutral, it's just great to experience all these maps 'from the other side' without the need to go veteran again and start all over. The game became so much more fun to play, and I don't think many players care about the scores in the shadow war. Anyway, time to gather th...
A new version of SD Snatcher would be nice, I played the original Japanese version on MSX and still would like to know what that was all about:) Like Metal Gear pretty revolutionary back in the days. I remember robots or aliens in human skins, all normal untill they rip open, an action RPG, and lots of plot twists ofcourse, it was a true Kojima game.
That, or something new, I'm done with Metal Gear. Snake Eater was the best, the version with only the oldskool camera, MGS4 was too ...
Ah, and so we become blessed with the magnificent marvels of homebrew software, a goddamn trophy-unlocker. Thanx George.
I don't know what they can do, but it's fucked up. Hacking leads to piracy, piracy leads to cheating, cheating leads to frustration, especially among the old fanbase. Here's hoping Sony finds a way to prevent that, without losing features or free online.
I know of a guy that bought a console but decided he wanted it to be a PC, which it already was a little bit, but not enough for his believe so he decided to fix it. So much to a point that the manufacturer decided that he, and all other buyers of the same console, had to choose for once and for all, upgrade to play games or stay the same and install your penguinthing. Guy said no because he had rights, and now he ruined it for everybody. Can't buy the PC-like console anymore, gamingnetwo...
MAG on year on, I have fought and died over 600 hours and I'm still addicted:) Could be me, could be the game, could be my clan. MAG is true modern warfare on console, nothing comes close.
150 bucks so my family can jump in front of my telly everytime I want to play a game, no thank you. I love my family and all, but most of them get smacked when they get near my equipment. When I want to game with my little screaming nephews I will buy them MadWorld for their Wii, they'll love me for that the little bastards, but when they're overhere it's sit down and shut up, and wait for your turn, R1 is shoot. Usually pretty good times.
So no, sorry MS, besides that (im...
Made in Holland:) I had to create an Indian PSN account to get acces to the beta without PSN+ (in case that still works, Ghandiroad 1 New Dehli is occupied), funny for a game being made 20 miles from here.
Liked the beta, and being a MAG fan, especially Operations. Really hope that mode gets worked out more, plain old deathmatches & CTF are not my cup of tea. Anyway, even for the campaign alone it's a day 1 buy, I remember having a lot of fun with the Helghast AI on the 2 high...
"PS3 is DOOmzED and PSN compromised, Sony can't guarantee safe network experience for paying customers now"
Clearly the sound of jealousy and loneliness. Your comments remind me of Nelson crying HAHA! when thing don't go the way Bart planned it. Like a little kid who's happy when his friends' supercool Bigwheel gets crushed - I could never have it, now he also cannot. 10 years later you create a useraccount just to annoy gamefans, nothing else. Why? ...
Sad news, if true and that simple to pirate games. Less money for the devs, less devs and there you go, less good games for us. For Tetris and because of Sony removing the option to run a shoddy version of Linux because mr Hotz himself said he was going to use that to hack&crack the PS3. For...our own applications, because it's...our own hardware.
Listen George, the vast majority bought the damn machine, that console, to play games. Not for homebrew, not for your m8's vers...
I just realised, I need a new WipEout game. HD/Fury was great, online Eliminator was awesome. What ever happened to Studio Liverpool?
Got a 360 last year, because of devine intervention. An unforseen tax-return coincided with a YLOD just when the slim became available, and a man's gotta shoot something in those 2-4 weeks. Loved Gears 1&2, so I'm looking out for part 3. And a whole bunch of multiplats I didn't pick up the last 3 years. Orange Box, Fall Out, that kind of stuff. It's nice to have a machine for which you can buy a 'new' game for 10-15 bucks every month:) And probably Mass Effect 2&am...
I'm sure there must have been some bad ass ape around 50.000 BC who only had to point at a tree for another monkey to get him that banana. He was the first to use motion control, no wires, case closed & happy new year.
Judge the game for what it is ElementX. Zipper tried something new, something different than ALL those other standard shooters. 6-10 hour campaign, 8-32 player online, and zombies. MAG is not like that, it makes you take part in the biggest battles virtually available, and does so with real people. And it works. It's made for people looking for just that, we don't need a story campaign.
For me it is the best shooter of 2010, because it's completely different than the rest. Playing with a clan in a squadbased tactical shooter, with the numbers, the command structure and varied objectives that is MAG, for me it's a relief to play such a game compared to the standard skirmishes other shooters provide. They're all more or less the same, where MAG's different. Not perfect, but really addictive and made for clans.
Untill now it's just the sales of the device that are mindblowing, not the games. Good for MS, not so good for us gamers. I still think the device is capable of allowing for some genuinely unique gameplay, something like Heavy Rain for example, but MS just doesn't have the studios for that like Sony does. I'm afraid if MS doesnt step it up we will be stuck with casual titels and shovelware. Nintendo did very well with those, they are now said to be No. 1, but as a core gamer I los...
