The beta plays fine, I experienced no lag whatsoever, headset works fine and matchmaking is quick to. Voting works good, spawning on your buddy is great. Haven't tried the party system yet, can I create a party of 2x5 with 10 friends for private clangames, and switch between hero and villain in between games?
DTM Racedriver 3, or TOCA 3 for UK people, was imo the best racinggame the Codies ever made.

The better Gears 3 will look, the shorter the campaign will be. Uncharted doesn't have that problem. I have all 4 games, UC1 looked better than Gears 1, and with the sequels the difference only got bigger, so I have no doubt this trend will continue in the final versions of the upcoming games. The level of presentation in Naughty Dog games is just unparalleled these days.
As for online, UC2 works, Gears 2 does not, but I understand Gears 3 will run on dedicated servers so they'...

1. He tried to mix each & every individual storyline from previous MGS games into MGS4, making the story of the game itself a complete mess.

DTM Racedriver 3 (or Toca 3) was my faverite racer last gen, that game had everything right, it was far better then GT imo. I wonder how refined the steering will be after 5 minutes of holding your hands in the air. After all, "the green hell only starts after the carrousel", your arms are pulp by then. If you want to copy a competitor and please your fans, get Logitech support in your game. Kinect, stickers, now camera angels, it doesn't matter if you like simulation racing. For me, this is the most anticipated multiplayer title for next year, followed by Dust 514. For this year I'm wating for Payback: The Heist and Twisted Metal. All fresh and very welcome in a time when games like Battlefield 3, Resistance 3, Modern Warfare 3 and Gears 3 dominate the headlines.
