Remember Shadow of the Colossus? One of the best games on PS2, it arrived late and the hardware was only just able to handle it, Ueda's vision almost didn't fit on PS2. If there's one developer who can make such a statement it's Ueda. Good stuff coming up, that's for sure.
I hope he's doing fine though, there's some seriously bad news from Japan today.
LBA =/= TEA aka RIP MGS imo;)
Tells me we get to hear more about Drake's personal background & that she used to slob Sully's nob.
Some PS3's do need a jailbreak.
Good stuff. Villains usually get killed in the end, I wonder how we get to put this ol' bihac down. I'll bet she gets crushed, or thrown of some high place. Last time I killed a granny was in Vice City I think.
No, don't try what isn't possible, do what needs to be done. Casuals usually don't realise they're dooped before their 4th or 5th game, what you gotta do right now is milk-em as much as possible, grab as much cash as you can with Dance, Pets, whatever part 2 & 3, and force the DLC right down their throats. Bag-em, Tag-em & grab all you can before they spot the next gimmick around the corner.
And with all that money, you just buy or pay gamestudios like you did ...
I just finished the campaign (veteran), and I have exactly the same feeling I had after finishing part 2 two years ago. Best graphics (on console) for sure, and yes, there's some pretty insane stuff happening on screen, but I can completely understand why some reviewers give it a 7 or 8. With all this great tech, artdesign and setting, with a potentially very cool background story, why on Earth can't they make a campaign that doesn't feel so...standard all the time. Hardly a chall...
A formidable foe indeed, rendering all resolutions, keyboard&mousing us all in oblivion, with mods, and no fleet of pirates can sink-em.
No, no, well yes Commodore 64 was better than Atari, but MSX was better than Commodore 64! With the original Metal Gear, not he Nintendo port, and...
Yeah, shit has always been like that.
Is it really so hard to connect PSN with Live? Just for one little game, a cross platform online shooter, made by Bungie and/or Insomniac, XBLA vs PSN. Blast-em!
Gears is like Halo, it belongs on the 360. Gears 3 on PS3 wouldn't be right, I don't what it is but I like exclusives to stay exclusive. Uncharted or Resistance on 360, same thing. Got myself a 360 last year especially for Gears and Mass Effect, and all sequels. For me they belong on 360, no matter how the PS3 version turns out. I still have to finish ME1, both sequals will be in the bargainbin but I will get-em for 360. Same goes for the BioShock series, I might even re-buy the first...
Allright. Besides, they both have armies of lawyers, and they gotta do something. Sad though, today I read our beloved courts could eventually order the shipments to be destroyed. Great laws. But no worries my European friends with the intend of buying a PS3 in 1 or 2 weeks, I'm on the mothafucker. Got a plan to bust-em out, we need more Blu ray players out there.
Well look at that, a new low in gamingforums, trolling thieves openly demanding more loot. Just wait for your torrent Pumba.
Well Mario, countering "Sony pioneered Blu Ray" with "Blu-ray succeeded because of the support of the Movie Studios, not the PS3!" sounds kinda weird to me. Sony owns filmstudios and is not a small player in the moviebiz, plus they were the first to put 1, 10, 40 million Blu ray players in people's homes, our PS3's. All of those received a free update and are now 3D Blu ray players, or at least can be. So yeah, Sony did a lot for the Blu ray standard when it was ne...
As mentioned in a comment on the article: Play, Share, Electrocute:)
Son, I mean Kon, give it up mmkay? At least try.
You got all the shooters in the world, and there's MAG. Nothing beats playing MAG in a good squad that knows what to do. I'm trying to like KZ3's multiplayer right now, but with 700+ hours in MAG the game has got me hooked like no other game before. Everytime a new shooter releases we see a dip in the playercount, but they always come back. Too bad the game got so many weird reviews, like points deducted for not having a single player, you & 255 NPC's that would be. There&...
Same here=) Sex? Uncharted? Hooker in church!
MGS was a stealthgame until Kojima introduced the new dynamic camera, after that MGS3: Subsistance and MGS4 played more like a 3rd person shooter. I understand the old static camera was getting outdated, but Kojima never found a way to compensate for it. Up until Snake Eater a full blown shootout was your last resort, but in MGS4 you can blast your way through the game on Big Boss hard. I know you don't have to, but still.
Less shooting, more stealth. Less fantasy, more coldwar re...
After playing the demo I popped the first game into my PS3, the one that me hooked for the best part of 2007. Back then I didn't care for splitscreen, rumble or 16 tracks, imo the game was just perfect the way it was. Tracks like Grizzly, Dust Devil, Sidewinder Gulch, it was great pushing a rallycar through one of those. The drivingphysics were perfect, and you needed skill to maintain a high speed. Online was great, with simple but functional lobbies instead of matchmaking.
