I know man, it's blasphemy...and I'm doing it again right now! Burp:)
Bought inFamous 2 today, didn't stop playing untill I had to eat. So much fun, but I guess if you didn't like the first game you won't like the sequel either. Their loss. Chowing away right now, gotta get back to New Marais asap, have a look around. Already found a electronics store named "Red Ring Electronics", advertising with 12 weeks repair & no guarantee! Bet the Edge reviewer bumped into that one too and BAM minus one point. Sucker, Punch=)
Who knows, haven't seen the specs yet, CoD 9 might look best on Wii U (on consoles), leaving all us PS3 & 360 fanboys holding our dicks, waving and moving like dumbasses in front of some 640p mess while they're blasting away in Full HD ánd have a handy mini map on their controller. Or porn, let's see them hackers do that. I know next year will be Treyarch's year but still, Full HD CoD, free network, porno in your hands, Nintendo does it again.
I believe they have 2 studios right now, one dedicated to PS3 and a new one for multiplatform games. I own a 360 and a PS3, so both thumbs are up. For 360 only players: Insomniac is a master in creating fun and original weapons for their games, and I'm sure we'll get plenty of that in Overstrike. I still remember the first time I used a Groovitron=)
Not me, I like PS3 games but I never cared for their PSP sequels or spin-offs. I need my games on a bigscreen, my mobile provides enough gaming when I'm away. Besides, the Wii U pads are no stand-alone handhelds, they need the console to work, you can't use them on the go like NGP. They might be usefull when a familymember insists on watching tho only TV set in the house, but c'mon, you can simply tell-em to go to hell, you're the King right? I know I am, have thém buy a ...
The most innovative multiplayer game for next year is imo Starhawk with it's Build&Battle system, but I'll keep an eye out for this one. I don't really mind how things work out with them facy PC flyboys, just as long as the core gameplay is solid. Same with MAG, love the game but I've never cared for that Shadow war thing. Still, Dust 514 could become one of those special multiplayer games that makes me appreciate and prefer PSN, like Warhawk did before, and MAG, Twisted M...
So by the end of next year there will be 4 consoles, including NGP, with 2 sticks, a d-pad, 4 facebuttons and 4 shoulderbuttons, and roughly the same specs. Wii U users get a mini map of the battlefield on their controllers, Kinect users will get to minority report their weapons loadout and Move users can, well, move and stuff. But we will all get the same multiplatform games, again and again.
The NGP and Wii U may be considered new or next-gen, but imo they are not, they'...
Or mouse vs Move.
And remember, your desk drags just a little bit more than our air you know. Go polish:)
Hmm, a free service vs. a paid service, always interesting to compare. The one with cross-game stats wins;)
Just have a few devs show of the capabilities of Build&Battle in a Starhawk multiplayer match. If E3 is about new & innovative gameplay, that should be enough to "win" the event, although I do not consider E3 to be a contest. Next thing you know it's sales that determines succes;)
Pick up a car, throw it far away and try to blast it out of the sky with another car. With one lucky shot I was able to hit a airborne telephonebooth with a lanternpost, hundreds of yards away. This game is going to be so much fun=)
Both Gears of War games should be in the top 10, they're fun as hell. One of them should be in the top 3 imo, and I couldn't decide which one is 1, 2 or 3. Uncharted is a adventure TPS, MGS a stealth TPS, and Gears is in-your-face action TPS, and I love-em all:)
Exactly, and GT5's rally can't be compared to DiRT, the handling of GT5's rallycars is horrible, and the tracks are uninspired. However, despite the assumed better AA on 360, I have a Logitech GT5 wheel with a Fanatec wheelstand (really, get one of those) so therefore I will be picking up the PS3 version of DiRT 3.
For optimum results: use the cockpit view. Steering the nose of your ship in the right direction is a lot easier that way, and it looks way cooler. Perform a barrel role and the whole screen turns around, the immersion is so much better when in cockpit view. I use the WipEout 2097 HUD for nostalgia, and you can copy the soundtrack from the original PS1 gamedisc straight to your PS3 HDD and use it in HD Fury.
WipEout is a PlayStation classic and the PS3 version was well worth waiting for I remember. Delayed because it failed the epilepsy tests, no exact releasedate and then a week before my birthday the news came in it would be released on that day:) One year later the Fury update doubled the fun. Online Eliminator is a blast to play, there's nothing like it.
No, I've seen Kudo, it doesn't have the depth of LBP. And WipEout or Socom are no B games, but that's perhaps a matter of taste. There's no reason to doubt TLG will be a Japanese masterpiece, if you played ICO or Shadow o/t Colossus. And LIVE's secondary features you mentioned are nice indeed, but there are no equivalents of GAMES like Warhawk or MAG, which are unique multiplayer games, stuff we haven't seen before. I've played Halo and I liked it, but it's not...
Just about all 360 games have their PS3 counterparts, but PS3 offers different games, stuff you'll never see on 360. xBox LIVE doesn't have a Warhawk or a MAG, you can't play user generated games like LBP, ModNation Racers and inFamous 2. Heavy Rain's gameplay was unique, Alan Wake's not so much. And honestly, Splinter Cell is no MGS, and since one needs a proper wheel for sims, Forza is definitely no GT5. There's no The Last Guardian, Twisted Metal or Starhawk in deve...
Yeah yeah, and then E3 comes around, and Sony will be smacking us silly with games games & more games, and these pumba's will have to start all over again with their doomed! articles. Better hurry up now, next year we're all doomed. And if not, we'll be playing Starhawk=)
Ofcourse MS has to replace every 360 that has problems with these new discs, but imo that's not a thing to praise them for. Better would be to prevent broken stuff leaving your factory. I'm probably good, I bought a slim last year, but I can imagine people with old 360's are fed up with sending in their consoles. It's not like MS will ship-em to you in advance, so some people, perhaps only a few thousand, won't be able to play games for a while, and as most of us found out...
Yeah, it's one of those games allright. Light up a car, pick it up, throw it away smoking and zap it in mid-air, boom:) it never gets old.
