Apparently their consoles and exclusive games sell good enough to give us more, and that's all I need. I'm a gamer, or consumer of games if you like, and I'm still pretty excited about what my PS3 has to offer this year, offline and online. New stuff like Starhawk and Dust 514, the good ol' days of Twisted Metal, singleplayer adventures like The Last of Us and The Last Guardian, although that last one is taking a bit too long. Nevertheless, they're all coming. Plus games f...
PlayStation vs xBox, with PC's you have Nvidia vs AMD, cars for example BMW vs Mercedes...fanboyism everywhere, it's the little child in us, combine that with our favourite toys and the internet and war is inevitable. And then your PS3 gets the YLOD from marathons of MAG, which conveniently coincided with the end of the 360 hardware betatests ánd an unforseen tax return which covered pretty much eveything, and you end up liking HALO & Gears as much as KillZone & Resistanc...
It doesn't work like that, especially not with games that take years to make. Those games cost millions, the shareholders would like to know where all their money is going. So they have to report, or at least their publishers have to, usually...once in a while we get a surprise, like recently with The Last of Us.
Edit: funny kid, he brings up GT5 as an example, and why another sim does things better, yet he agrees that "when it comes to the actual driving of GT5 it i...
Nope, that's WipEout HD from back in 2008. Try to reach Zone-mode at Super Zen speed & beyond, in 3D. Install-->say WOW every millisecond:)
xBox is all about online multiplayer, so if you include PS3 games, why didn't Starhawk make the list? The multiplayer is so promising, I'll bet they won't report on it at all.
"Surprisingly, the figure could have actually been higher. The game originally had 459 panty designs, but 36 were dumped because they did not fit the required criteria of getting your heart racing, being cute, or having a high enough big bang level"
I smell DLP, I'm sure we'll see those 36 panties back one way or the other.
Twisted Metal, Starhawk, Dust 514, hopefully The Last of Us and perhaps even The Last Guardian...yes I can wait until 2013;)
Aaand ofcourse Mass Effect 3, BioShock 3, Halo 4, I almost forgot about my 360:) But first, let us make it past 2012 alive, have a laugh about them Maya's and in 2013 we will all run to the store like crazy, and buy for whatever machine available...Call of Duty 10! And it will be full of bugs, exploits and glitches, just the way we like it=)
Whatever happened to the year of the PlayStation? I dunno...it became a decade?
I think he knows it by now:) Options man, always go for options first. Flip your axes, click a few Hold boxes, go southpaw if you have to, but never ever start a game without checking your options first.
64 players on one map is nice, imagine 4 of those maps linked together, each with it's own 32 vs 32 player battle. Once you break through on your own map you can go for your final objectives, or wreck havoc on the other maps, behind enemy lines. Just one good squad of 8 in a APC that knows how to bring & hold down the triple-A on adjacent maps so everybody gets airborn, and you can easily turn the tide for all 256. Been playing such a game for over 1000 hrs now, it never gets boring a...
Hmm, forgot about that, you're probably right.
Now wait a minute, I just bought the track-pack in the EU store 1 hour ago, no downloading or installing, no savefile. When I started GT5 I checked the DLC icon, clicked something to unlock and immediately Spa is available in Arcade mode and as practice in GT Mode. Nice, been asking that for a year, but was this track already on my disk the entire time? If so, why the hell can't all acounts access the freaking track? This is some serious bullshit.
Edit: nvm, heard it'...
What DLC? I just bought the track-pack for 3,99. Left the store and noticed nothing downloading. Booted up GT5 to go to the new DLC icon, there it was. One sec after I click a button shit was done, no downloading, no installing. Jumped into Arcade mode, Spa was there, loaded normally, great track. But was this shit already on my disk or what?
Edit: EU store
Well said, I tried to explain that in a tread a few days ago about that new Fanatec wheel, 500 bucks and no pedals. It's either a goofy MS device or an expensive Fanatec, there's nothing in between for the majority of fans which is a damn shame. GT5 has the Logitech Driving Force GT for 100-150, add a Fanatec wheelstand for 100 and you're good to go. 250 plus 100 and you have a G25 complete.
I always like to know when I see those popular Forza/GT threads, with all...
For who? For most Forza fans ofcourse, the vast majority does not want to pay this price for a good wheel and pay extra for pedals. You can disagree all you want, but most Forza fans are stuck in the middle, the affordable wheels suck, using a controller or Kinect for a sim is madness and this wheel here is too expensive for most of them, me included. I have a 360 but no Forza games. The reason: no good wheel available in the mid-price range, say 150-250 Euros/USD. With GT5, you can hook up p...
A Fanatec Rennsport wheelstand with a Logitech Driving Force GT, 200 bucks and you're all set, 900 degrees and very good FF. Add another 100-150 and you'll have a G25-G27 set up.
Proper wheel support is the most important thing in sim racing, and should be available in different price ranges. The original MS wheel wasn't any good and has been discontinued, the new wireless MS wheel is terrible, Kinect is a joke and this new Fanatec set up is just too expensive. Perhaps MS ...
nevermind, didn't read it...Spa Francochamps, finally:)
For a second I read with beers and saw myself stumbling around the livingroom, but no. Beats me why we didn't get articles about why part 1 shipped without bears, it's the GD king of the forest man, some big mothafockers.
Kal-El? Sounds like a Klingon matingritual. Kah-Pla woman my blood boils, time for Kal-El! Anyway, build me a Kal-El handheld with a 40" screen and I'll buy it.
TOOTH !!!!!!!!!
No sexual explicit stuff? Oh wait, yes there is..."Includes online features that may expose players to unrated user-generated content". WOOHOO!
