Poor Jesus, being the son of a god has got to be a big minus when facing Kratos, considering he's no big fan of gods in general and what he did to Hercules. If I was him I'd keep quiet about that
That's got to be it, well done sir. I was thinking about Kratos & Demios or Kratos & Athena, can't believe I forgot about his wife & kid. Nothing will bring them back indeed. But I believe the series is not about trying to do just that, he knows that's impossible, but about trying to end the nightmares of him killing them, and of course vengeance. "But the visions, will they end?" he asked Athena with a voice full of emotion.
Could be a nice gimmick, but I prefer my mini-map on-screen. It varies from game to game, but when I play a shooter I blink at the mini-map every few seconds. Having to look off-screen, focus close and then focus on the big screen will A) get me killed and B) give me a headache for sure.
Perhaps better to use it as interface for communication with EVE players, or for a commander to set waypoints or objectives.
Hop in a tank, kill the kamikaze jetbike, shoot down incoming Hawks, eject by jetpack to escape the nuke, snipe a poor sap in mid-air, drop down a Hawk platform & take to the skies...all in one minute if you have to, this game is pure awesome.
Inspire me than & show-em, I bought AC because of you (ok not that smart) you bihac, now show some. Keep the glasses on.
Heavenly Sword had great gameplay potential, but imo it didn't fulfill that. Only on Hard the game got interesting, meaning you would really have to switch between stances for good defence or to break through shields. Also, the special arial combo's were beautifull, but you didn't really need them, you could finish the game using just 2 or 3 basic combo's. I believe Nariko was capable of at least 25, why not force players to use them, to learn at least half of the abilities, f...
Can't wait for Starhawk, loved the beta and I want to get back in my tank as soon as possible, blowing Hawks out of the sky:) If this game doesn't get GOTY awards for the multiplayer I wouldn't know what else a studio has to do to attract gamers. Dedicated servers, 32 players, big maps, ground and air vehicles, Build&Battle strategy, clanwars. This game alone will keep me busy untill PS4 arrives.
Advertise Sony, advertise the sh!t out of it. Just use gameplay ...
The first Motorstorm is still my favorite, although I liked Pacific Rift to. Apocalypse not so much, but I don't have a 3D tv. The first game did miss a lot of features and the loading was slow, but it got me hooked in a way the other games couldn't. Fewer tracks, but better imo. Piloting a rallycar on Grizzly or through Sidewinder was so exciting and fun, especially online with other good rallycar racers. Lobby's were simple but worked, you could play with the same opponents for ...
Perhaps after I'm done with Starhawk & Dust 514, so no hurry.
Very promising, but I'm not getting my hopes up too high. 256 players on one map is possible on PS3, but a thousand? I don't think so, definitely not on 360 and this seems to be multiplatform if you chech the official site. We need more info, but I think this will be a multiplatform game without cross platform play, where every single battle on PC, PS3 and 360 contributes to a bigger ongoing fight in one universe, one server so therefore a thousand players in one game but not in one m...
Weird indeed. Game has walking mechs with machine guns that transform in flying Hawks with rockets & back in walking mechs that can jump and stomp enemies to death. Now let me first catch my breath again, but why isn't this Japanese video not full of transforming mechs with machine guns etcetera? I thought they still loved that shit.
You're both kind of right. The 1st game was called "Metal Gear", the 2nd "Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake", with Solid Snake as a subtitle to the game, not the series. Even then that was "Tactical Espionage Action", a qualitystamp MGS:Rising won't receive. It's not "Metal Gear Solid: Snake" or something. With the PS1 game the series was renamed to it's current name MGS, on MSX it was MG.
MSX was pretty big in Europe to but the ...
Ah, the Ocelot paradox:) I assume most players already unlocked that particular Trophy, if not than move along...great humor, I wonder if it was Kojima or Bluepoint Games that came up with
"Problem solved, series over"
I just couldn't stop laughing when that text popped up. One reason I never check on available Tropies before finishing a game.
Too bad kiddo, you'll be fiddling with homemade twinkietoasters & tattoo equipment for the next couple of years. Good luck hacking your way out of this one:)
Starhawk, for the multiplayer. The beta was awesome, sooo addictive.
Must be awful, you're enjoying the game, you mastered the Force moves and everything, you are Jedi now...and then all of a sudden you have shake your ass in a particular way to advance in the game. WTF?
I don't like that, it totally doesn't fit the Starwars universe. It reminds me of that one puzzle in God of War 3, where you have to play a few tones by pressing the facebuttons like it was Guitar Hero. It was easy and fortunately only once, but I just couldn't...
50 Cent over Okami, man that hurts. What did Jeremy Clarkson say the other day what should be done with those people? Can't repeat it here, but it has to be done right in front of their families. Now with that name of yours, why not form ein spezial kommando & track-em down, those morons.
Farewell Zipper & thank you for MAG, on behalf of the community and especially those 1 or 2 thousand still playing every day. MAG is truly special, and I still hope to see MAG 2 one day. Or if some of the staff form a new studio, perhaps a spiritual successor like Warhawk & Starhawk.
I didn't expect this news, I was actually hoping for a new game announcement or news about Zipper helping CCP with the development of Dust 514, also a game that promises large scale b...
Both Sony and MS have plans for this, and if it's necessary to protect the continuation of expensive gamedevelopment I have no problem with it. I buy most games I want new, play them during the generation they were developed in and I usually do not sell them, same goes for the hardware. So with news like this and reading so many gamers say "never a PlayStation again" I think good riddance, get the hell out of here you crying cheapskates, there's no loss in losing you, we won...
I hope to see both games this gen, but if I had to chose it would also be HS2 instead of GOW4, the last one would be a great must-have launchtitel for PS4, and I still have the HD collections to hack through. HS on the other hand was 5 years ago, it's now or never.
But it will probably be a new GOW game, I just hope it's for PS3 and not Vita, I want it for the big screen.
It's weird though. Games like HS, MGS4 and GOW3 were all made with custom build game ...
