Doom 3 didn't actually had very good graphics, the main showcase of the game were shadows, and pump mapping. The models of characters, the animations and texture resolutions were pretty mediocre even for the times it was released in. Just like the gameplay, imo.
Trust me, it will not amaze anyone other than Call of Duty fans... and it doesn't take much to amaze that type of people.

If that's going to be in game, it won't matter, nobody cares about that level of detail in action shooter game. Even if the game engine can render a single soldier or two with that much detail, but when you will be playing the game, there will be so much stuff to render, that amount of detail will have to be dropped. This is just a misleading eyecandy for the sake of hype, nothing else.

Yeah I install and play those once in a while, Painkiller is simple mindless fun. Bought first one on the disk, then bought full collection on disks, and then all of them on Steam again, no regrets because good old times!

Never played any assassin creeds before, but still pre-ordered this game for PC because of pirate's theme. Was majorly disappointed at quality of the port. The game is fine at the core and concept, but the fact that is just a very bad and ugly port is just sad.
Its not going to bring anything back... Its just gonna fail like consoles do at RTS. If you want to play mediocre RTS, sure play it on console. If you want to enjoy superb RTS experience, play them on PC.
