Watching someone die in a video game (movie) is nothing like seeing real death, so don't you worry about it.
They had a good thing with FarCry 1, everything else after are just random games that use FarCry name. Not saying those are bad games, but making games that have nothing to do with each other while slapping FarCry name on the box to make money off it, was never a good idea either.
If you seriously into gaming, you would not think twice spending more than 400 bucks on a PC, you can spend 700 bucks and get a pretty good build that can run most games on medium/high and still look better than PS4 and have Steam, and mods and every other benefit of a PC gaming.

I feel sorry for people, man and women, who buy video games because of beautiful looking models in the ads. Maybe that is okay in Korea, but damn, that is just a weird way to go about picking what game to get. Maybe clothing, make up or jewelry would make sense, but video games?
I have been playing games for over 20 years of my life, and I don't know anyone who gets games based on ads. It usually what type of game it is, and the whether it is on sale or not.

Its made by a different team who used Frostbite engine... If you think they will go over every line of code making sure all bugs that are present in Frostbite engine that was provided to them... you are a dumbass.
Not saying they shouldn't have tried to fix bugs, but the fact that two games made ON THE EXACT SAME ENGINE have same bugs, should not be surprising to anyone who has more then one brain cell and knows how even a little bit about how programming works.

Ahh a voice of reason! Props man. I love Doom, yes it was game of my childhood, and its nostalgic, but you are absolutely right, ID has been having too much trouble with it and at this point there is a good possibility that they just threw something together for the sake of finishing the game. I actually have to agree, that game feel lifeless. It looks too clean (kinda like Halo actually), and there is just not much emotion in it. Like yeah, there are monsters to kill and mission to do in those large maps or whatever... but excitement is just no there, at least for me.

EA hurried DICE into making another Battlefield (which was ALSO about modern warfare) because they wanted to make Battlefield into Call of Duty, and crap new Battlefield every so often.
As you can see it didn't work out very well, because Battlefield is much more complex game, and developers need time to make it right.
Its sad Battlefield 4 suffered so badly from greed.

Holy shit balls, can you say Assassins Creed much? Man, I always hated "realistic" approach to Mortal Kombat series.
The game is not going to have Open World PvP, its going to have Large Scale PvP in specifically made map for PvP with teams and specific set of rules. So if you are looking forward to actual Open World PvP, you will be disappointed.
The game is going to be very fun, but the fact that Red5 knowingly misleads people by saying they have Open World PvP is just not cool.
