Ok well thanks for the updates. I don't regularly watch G4TV so the fact that he has been critical of Sony in the past and now is saying this make it all the more impressive. Especially when he says "I can honestly say that I have finally seen PS3 games I do not believe could be running on the 360, at least at this point in time."
Of course I am sure this guy will be labled a Sony fanboy since he said something nice about Sony and its games for the PS3. Why can't people on all sides just appreciate great games no matter what platform they are for?
this game had lost its hype for me since it was revealed. Now with all this new information not only is the hype back but I would say its even more. Hopefully when its released it will live up to everyones expectations. I have my fingers crossed. Keep up the good work Ubisoft!
Sorry if you thought I was refering to you. It's perfectly fine to ask questions and I did notice the discrepency as pointed out in the story. I was actually appauled that some would use this as a shot at MS and the 360 and that people should buy a PS3. Just goes to show you some people simply lack respect or decency. As a PS3 owner and fan that kind of stuff sickens me.
Not only is this a very sad story, my condolences to the family but I think what is even more sad is some of the comments made in this thread. Some have sunk to an all time low. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves.

I love the games I play on my PS3. RFoM, Motorstorm and VF5 are not only great looking games but play great as well. I realize not all developers are equal but its funny how when a developer says something positive about programing for the PS3 we get comments like Close Second's.

Come on Bladestar. Sony has never said the PS3 is a super computer in everything it does. It is a powerhouse for software that is optimized for it. In other words it offers incredible performance for software that is written specifically to take advantage of what the Cell has to offer.
The Cell is capable of alot of things and hence why your seeing it utilized not just in the PS3 but in many different systems and applications.

is that the PS3 is not geared towards the average Joe. Its geared to people who have bought a HDTV or are buying a HDTV. To own a PS3 and only play it on a SDTV would be a huge waste. Heck I would say buying a 360 and playing it on a SDTV would be a huge waste.
Edit: I also think they underestimate how quickly HDTV will become the norm.
