The second video has some really great commentary on it, well worth a look if you are into this game.

2 things drive sales, price and software.
Sony will be releasing 34 games between now and Christmas. 14 of those as exclusives. A wide offering from traditional hardcore games to stuff that will appeal to the non traditional gamer like Little Big Planet, Home and Singstar. I just saw they will also be offering VOD as well as music and tv shows.

Ubisoft can say whatever they like. Does that make then right? Does it make them wrong? Time will tell. The PS3 will get a price drop, the question is when? You also know that when Sony does drop its price so will MS and Nintendo so they are not really going to gain any advantage as the price difference will remain the same.

Funny I never stated one game. I said after a bunch of traditionally high selling games on the PS2 launch in Japan on the PS3 and it continued to do poorly then I would say they are in trouble.
Also I am unaware of anyone from Sony being on record as stating they would slaughter the competition in only a years time. I am sure a few Sony fanboys may have stated that but I would love any kind of a link to back up what your saying.

The Wii is hot right now because it offers a unique way to play games and the few games it does have out are able to take advantage of that feature so no suprise its selling.

No all it means is there has not been games released that the Japanese are interesed in, yet. Also don't forget that many of those launch systems in Japan where sold outside the country for a profit. When the PS3 has over a 100 game titles available and its still getting these kind of sales number then I will agree that the PS3 is in trouble.
