Considering how far ahead MS started I think Sony has done a pretty awesome job for a online service that's only 7 months old. I know you 360 fans like to say you hate to wait but how long has it taken MS to get to this point with XBL? Heck before the PS3 launched we where hearing that Sony would never ever be able to offer what MS has with XBL it was simply impossible and now its OMG when are they going to catch up..what's wrong with Sony? Why is it always wait? They really don't have th...
I like the things Sony is doing with the PSN. I much prefer Sony's approach as it really is a more creative environment for gamers, with user created content. A more creative way for developers to do whatever they can imagine and want to do, rather being restricted in offering the exact same features every other developer does because thats what MS dictates. Best of all they are doing all this while providing it free of charge. Keep up the good work Sony!
I am approving because while this story was posted it was never posted to the PS3 section and this article has news that PS3 owners might be interested in and is only being posted to the PS3 section this time around.
Yup your right. Not only did they disagree with me but I lost a bubble for being polite and offering what I thought where reasonable comments. However it would appear that I have offended some Xbox 360 fans and they have chosen to try and shut me up.
Its very obvious you don't have a PS3 so of course would not know the difference in picture quality connecting it with a component cable versus HDMI. There is one. Not only that but the 1.8 patch they just release allowed you to further increase the picture quality by selecting RGB Full and on TV's that are able to take advantage of that feature the difference is amazing. See because you don't own one you have no idea.
So you can talk all this crap about better GPU and blah ...
I thought we where suppost to compare the graphical capabilities of the 2 systems. Meaning the best that they can do. I can see by your response that not the point here. Its only to show the 360 at its best and if that means the PS3 is not as good at that setting then it means the PS3 is not as good, well great news for MS and 360 fanboys. Whatever makes you sleep well at night. All I know is my setup looks a hell of a lot better as my pictures show.
I see so hey lets down grade both the 360 and PS3 images to 480p because thats what the majority of home owners own. If we are going to appeal to the lowest common denomiator hey lets all just buy the cheaper Wii and call it a day :P

Hey I think I will become a HD Observer and then write a article and it will get posted here! Mine will be about how I think Blu-Ray will win the war and have just as much credibility. :)
They are using the standard 360 setup but thats not the standard PS3 set up so how can you consider that to be fair? Compare what the standard 360 set up is to the standard PS3 set up and then it would be fair.
You know you could take the same source signal and have it run on different tv's and you would see a difference. What I would like to see is the tv set up to maximize the picture of each system and then compare. Since that's what a person would do in real life. Instead they only went with component video cables completely bypassing one of the PS3 main features, the HDMI 1.3 connection. I also wonder if they had the RGB on full or if the TV they are using even supports it. In other words ...
I wonder if this is something they will allow people to download and play? Having another track like this would be awesome until GT5 comes out.
Seem to me your offended now to..hypocritical? Or is it ok for an atheist to be offended but not a christian? Fact of the matter is people these days get to offended at eveything. Not only that but then they want to sue or demand something in return.
In all honesty I think the church was offended because they did not have all the facts and/or are misguided in their belief that video games create violent gun crime. Everyone needs to take a deep breath and look at the situatio...
Well this is certainly is not like a traditional based MMO this is something completely different. This part in particular is very different and very interesting.
"There are also non-playable characters called Operatives to recruit.
Operatives are persistent characters who work in the background, helping you through missions. They're persistent because they'll carry on performing duties (building vehicles, gathering intelligence, etc.) even if you log off....
This first update should be released within the next couple weeks, with a free Time Attack mode to follow soon after.

This is something Sony has been doing for years.
LOL, Sorry Thammer1 its not one truck. This is something Sony has been doing for years to help promote the PlayStation brand. IE its marketing Sangheili85. Believe it or not companies can put money into marketing their products while still creating games or working on reducing the cost of producing the system. I guess you missed all the great games from Sony's Gamer day?
The best way to sell a product is to allow people to try it and answer their questions etc and this is a ...
I have been playing MMO's for along time now and this was one game I was not really even considering playing but after reading the interview I had to go check out more about the game. This is somehting I will have to definately check out now. Nice to see some major changes to the genre and the old level grind.
Shipped units are completed, working units. Meaning all parts are paid for and assembled.
Actually it was 5.5 million shipped at the end of March, so times four 512 Mbit XDR devices = 22 million. I would say the PS3 is accounting for almost all the XDR memory.
Well let me first say I am not a expert in any of this. I have a very basic understanding and am not here to argue since I don't know the ins and out of all this. It would be my guess that very few people actually would be a in a postion to know such information except those working with hardware capabable of such graphics processing.
I would think most people rather then try and argue this should let games prove it one way or the other. As some have stated we have not seen ...
