Total life time sales of DmC are 1.6 million. This means it's no longer the worst selling in the series

I think it's really interesting you said MGS2 as it is often regarded as the most controversial.
I liked it as well but it isn't often that you find people that openly admit to it.
Im going to have to agree with you there. And even then I'd have to say uncharted 2 isn't even the best game of all time. For me Last of us was fun it has great story, excellent characters and atmosphere. But it is extremely overated. There are way better games out there throughout every generation.
Persona 3 is my favorite in the series.
Oh I believe this game is going to rock. It's just that development time for this game has been outrageous. Once we begin to see more of the game I believe most of these fears will fall by the wayside.
Yeah.... I don't care what you say about this game but it definitely ain't gonna fail. The moment square actually starts to get serious and begins to advertise this game its sales will pretty much be guaranteed.

Exactly. I didn't find destiny particularly ground breaking either. To be honest if I had to simplify it, the game is simply halo meets borderlands.
But for some reason that works well and the game is loads of fun. Everything is just so polished. I really didn't expect to see as much hate as I've been seeing in the comments these last few days.

Just because Capcom moved most of its development back in house doesnt exactly mean DmC2 will never see the light of day.
I read earlier this week that as of February of this year DmC had sold an additional 300k copies, putting total lifetime sales somewhere around 1.5 million.
Sure that's still less than DMC4, but if true it also means that DmC is no longer the worst selling in the series (the original DMC3 is). This puts DmC about in line with most of t...

OMG yes! that would have been awesome. And I have the feeling that if there is ever is a DmC 2 (which I believe there will be) It wont be made by Ninja Theory, it will be developed by Capcom.

I have played all of the past DMC games (I have a pretty nice collection actually) and I still think it was awesome.
And as I recall there were only really two good DMC games the first and third. Perhaps DmC wasnt better than those, but it was still a good game.
But meh... This arguing over it is getting old. To each his own
They've been saying they aren't working on DmC 2 for like a year now. So really not a surprise.
The RPG elements alone make it better imo
