Its pretty damn big man. Not a whole lot of weapons and attachments(right now anyway) but there alot of passive abilities. I see more in the future of DLC. There are enough that you cant max out your character with everything. It reminds me of the shpere system from FF10 if that makes any sense.
There is nothing else like it and unfortunately because of this fanboys are gonna hate. They will come here and bash it. They will try to compare it to ALan Wake (which really!? What the hell is all the hype on that game? It looks like a silent hill clone to me...but anywho)They will say "Oh! Well it didnt sell like Halo!" Or " Who cares if its diffrent! Thats fair Alpha I have talked up MAG so much but I can honestly tell a few of the negative things Ive noticed. You should know its flaws after all before considering purchasing.
1) This Game will unlearn your COD playing style. While this isnt really a bad thing, it means that you WILL probably hate MAG for like the first hour and a half or so.
2) Because pretty much ALL of us are used to playing COD so much the way you swap weapons and equipment feel strange......

For Some reason the more I hear about FF13 the more I dislike, I get the feeling that I got before I played FF10, which I absolutely hated. I dont know Square.... this one just aint doing it for me...its beautiful yes..but I dont know... I dont think Ill be buying it, however I will be purchasing Resonance of fate (which does have towns) and seems less linear and altogether more interesting. I urge the rest of you to look into as well.
Thats A great idea. For MAG this is how the game is meant to be played already there have been a few games Ive played in where the squad leader does not use a headset and this is frustrating to everyone else on the team. If you dont have a headset why should you be a squad leader? And if you dont want to use one, why do you even want to play MAG? Because its the ps3 flavor of the month?
If you want to play lone wolf or you just dont care to use one at all please just dont even ...
MAG is more than technically impressive. Its FUN. Why does everyone continue to try to downplay that the game is genuinely fun? You are entitled to your opinion as we all but you cant just dismiss it and say "Oh its only 256 people thats it! Its generic once you take away all the players!??"
Cant the same be said for all games? Take away their niche, and there just basic?
Take Borderlands for example (which I have and enjoy) When it all comes down to it...

LOL I dont understand why so many people "said" that they actually played the beta and hated it, but now that positive reviews are coming back everyone is jumping on the bandwagon because the reviews magically made the game that much more enjoyable for you. However in reality many members on this site (including myself) expressed that MAG is an excellent title that deserves praise.
I just dont get it... but I suppose that this increase the fan base which IS a good thing.
And it will only get better as the weeks go on... Right know everyone who hadnt played the beta are just getting used to the game. But once everyone gets used to the team combat the game will really shine.
lol on a side note ive seen many trying to play it like MW2, and I love killing them because most of them dont seem to learn you cant take as many bullets or run in and knife people.

The mode your thinking of was sabotage, In that game mode squadleaders cant call in airstrikes and such... its really just meant as a sort of...training for the big one (domination).
I honestly dont know why everyone is so upset that it doesnt have a singleplayer campaign. Honestly how many times did any of you play through the story of CODMW? Lol by the way it wasnt all that great. MAG is a truly good game youll be having so much fun in multiplayer you wont care about a singl...
