The same can be said for singleplayer in games like Call Of Duty and Battlefield.
For the most part, I think it's pretty fair. The developers put a lot of work into crafting a game with sp and multi, or even sp only/mp only, and it's not unfair of them to ask you to fully explore the whole game and not just a section of it in order to unlock all the trophies.
1st playthrough: Hard Mode
2nd playthrough: 1999 Mode
3rd playthrough: Easiest mode with PS Move

Not every pc game has gamepad support. Sure, the majority of the newer games do, but not all, and there are a lot of past games that don't have gamepad support.
And don't even mention something like "motionjoy" on those games that don't have the native support. Motionjoy controls (or any program that maps mouse movement to a controller) are an absolute joke (even though they work, they are still terrible). If the game does...
They may not see the money from that particular copy, but there's a strong chance that they would see money from future purposes.
There are a lot of people who simply pick up games because they're so cheap used, games that they weren't super interested in, but after buying them used, discover that they loved them, and plan to buy future sequels at full price.

Yeah, I'm not liking the reversing in this game either. Classic controls are pretty much perfect except for reversing.
It's kind of silly that it's mapped to two different parts of the controller. Instead of being able to reverse by simply pressing circle, you must instead double tap it. I loved the first darkness, but the darkness 2 looks MUCH better than the first. The first game went for more realistic graphics, which was fine at the time, but realistic graphics do not age well. Games with great art styles however, do age well, and The Darkness 2 has a very great art style.
And the first darkness was just as repetitive, if not more so, than the demo. And if you hate rumble so much, then just turn it off when you play the full game.

I think what he means, is that they could probably add the exact same voice command feature to the ps3, since it pretty much just requires a decent microphone, but they don't, so that Microsoft can (probably) pay a little extra to Bioware so they can tout a feature over the competition. (that's my theory anyway)
