It was kind of fun, but I wont be buying it on launch day. I'll wait until I can get it at 30 dollars, MAYBE 40.
"Why the hell is everyone saying that they will buy it even when saying they wont?"
It's kind of a "guilty pleasure" thing. Most people know they shouldn't buy it based on Activisions greedy practices (rehashing everything, changing nothing), but they will still probably enjoy the game a lot and wont be able to help themselves whenever it actually comes out. These people know how bad the actual game is, but will still enjoy it anyways.

"If you take issue with i~~~"
A gamers opinion is more important than a cod fans opinion. Sorry, but someone who knows very little about gaming DOES have a less valid opinion than someone who actually plays a variety. That doesn't just apply to games either. I like movies, and have many opinions on them, but I haven't seen the majority of movies that people consider the best of all time, the...
Trailception is overrated.
Because fans like me who bought and loved Call of Duty 4 got them where they are today. That warrants some respect, and it warrants some bugs and issues be fixed. I bought MW3 used, so I didn't give them crap for that game.
"Do you go into McDonalds and constantly cry about how you don't like the cheeseburger as you are ordering one?"
No, but the difference is that I'm not spending 65 bucks on a cheeseburger. Mcdonalds food is very re...
"you think Activision owes it to you to cater to whatever you want, as if your criticisms are absolute, undeniable faults with the game"
They kind of do, after all, we are the ones who made them so successful in the first place, so they at least owe us a listen and a few things we ask for, and yeah, terrible connection issues and hit detection ARE absolute and undeniable faults about the game. I'm not talking about killstreaks and aimless auto assist when I say...
@MrBeatdown
I said I enjoyed those games to an EXTENT. I may have enjoyed mw2 and black ops AT TIMES, but that doesn't mean they are good games. Sometimes I can have fun with a sh*tty game, but still recognize it as crap. I buy it every year hoping it will be different, hoping that it can at least go back to the quality of cod4, but year after year, I'm disappointed. I'm probably going to skip black ops 2 if they still haven't fixed the connection issues a...
Yeah, I've played all of them, and to some extent, enjoyed all of them as well........except Modern Warfare 3. The whole "rehash" feeling really struck me with mw3. At least Black Ops sort of has its own identity with the slower paced gameplay and different weaponry, but mw3 is just a full on rehash, except that it is somehow WORSE than its predecessors.
I find it hilarious how this guy is acting like WE are the a$$holes for wanting a better game, and one that...
Extreme luck.
I don't care for mercenary mode. I played it a few times in Resident Evil 5, but I didn't like it.
That said, just because of that bullsh*t tactic, if the game doesn't have an online pass, I'm definitely buying it used.
We could fight The Eclipse, The Blue Suns, The Blood Pack, the other group that I can't think of right now. Fight some vorcha, fight some asari, some turians, some krogans, batarians, there are plenty of new enemies they could have. Each of the groups seem to be made up of at least 3 different races per group, plus fight some of those varren (robot dog looking things), they'd kind of be like a husk type enemies.
Or some left over cerberus/reaper controlled alliance ...
Does it really matter all that much why they release it for free? Sure they did it to improve their image, but then again, that's pretty much what every single developer does when they release free dlc, to improve their image among the customers.
You think that there is a single BIG developer out there whose SOLE reason to give out free dlc is to make people happy? If you honestly believe that, then maybe you are the naive one. If you believe that of course, I wont assu...
No you don't have to do any of them, but then that really doesn't leave much left to do.
Hell, saints row is more of a gta game than gta4 was, as it actually has the spirit of a gta game.
Absolutely. If gta5 is anything like gta4, then the developers won't see any money from me, I'll just buy it used. Saints row may have had a terrible story, but it was great at everything else it did, while gta4 had a great story, but was awful at everything else.
They need to make it a grand theft auto game again like San Andreas, and avoid the dull and terrible mini game crap of the 4th. Just avoid making it like gta4 and it should be a good game.
Yep. Get with the times old man :)
"I don't see how making it easier would allow more people to enjoy it."
It would allow casuals that don't have the time to spend perfecting their skills a chance to play and enjoy it. They wouldn't be making the game easier for you folks who like it rough, just easier for those who haven't played the series.
"One of the themes of the Souls series is learning and patience. If you can't learn these things, then you shouldn...
"long as they remember to keep the gameplay core and not add any casual changes...."
"The minute that the DS series has an 'option' is the minute that it dies a little."
Why does it bother you people so much if it's just an option, an option that you don't even have to partake in? Are you people THAT concerned with making it known to everybody just how badass you are at a really hard game? Honestly, most people really don't ca...
@Tr10wn
The Battlefield 3 Soldier class for Mass Effect 3 was only on xbox 360, Xbox 360 was given Kinect support while ps3 wasn't given move support, the promotion to win a car was absent for ps3 version, and the collector assault rifle dlc for multiplayer was also apparently absent from ps3, and all the events that have been going on have been excluded from ps3.
I don't know about you, but when I look at all that crap, it makes me think Bioware and...
Still, you don't see a lot of actual GENUINE xbox fanboys here at n4g. It's mostly trolls looking to entertain themselves. I've been coming to this site for a long time, reading the comments sections of articles I find interesting, Sony or otherwise, and it's been a really long time since I've seen an actual xbox 360 fanboy here at n4g.
Most all of them have either left or have converted to ps3 fanboys, so yeah, the fact is, is that there are far more So...
There will be a sale for it. I've seen the game on sale and have bought some of the expansion packs while they are on sale as well.
