Oh yeah, I keep forgetting about Bioshock being delayed.

I guess it's Borderlands 2 then. I'm definitely going to buy GTAV, but I'm a little cautious of it and have lowered my expectations of it being an amazing game, after I personally thought GTAIV was a disappointment.

It's a tie between Bioshock Infinite and Borderlands 2 for me.

I don't mind the class setups in either game, but I thought the maps in Bad Company 2 were just unimpressive. There are only one or two maps in BF3 I don't like, and that's only on rush mode.

Every map in BC2 was a borefest for me though. Even Bad Company 1 had better maps than Bad Company 2 (imo).

@PFirefly

Okay Mr. Specific, whatever. 5 bucks really isn't worth going to gamestop over ordering from Amazon.

@Jwk94

It's a very small price to pay for avoiding a corporation that I've had pretty terrible experiences with. They've sold me "new" games that had already been opened, one even on launch day, told me to pick a case off of the shelf. About 80% of the time I go in there for one of their "specials&qu...

Assuming the Gamestop dlc will cost 10 bucks, I would be paying about the same amount of money. Amazon doesn't charge the 5(or more, idk if it's more for ce's)tax, plus the gas it would take to drive down to my local Gamestop would probably equal out to 10 bucks, so i'm not really paying more, but even if I were, yeah I'd still avoid Gamestop. I've had terrible experiences with them before, they are an awful store, one which I despise.

I hate Gamestop. I'd rather wait for the dlc to come out later (confirmed on gearbox twitter) than buy from Gamestop.

@Blastoise

The difference is, Skyrim was actually playable for the majority of people within at least the first 20-30 hours before the problems set in, and still, the same issues did not occur for everyone.

I had a 13mb save file on Skyrim (ps3) and never encountered any slow down or broken gameplay.

From the sound of Diablo, it seems as if nobody can actually play it, not even a couple of hours

@guitarded77

It's a nice little detail to know. Judging by your comment, it seems as though you think these articles only exist to start fanboy wars or something.

You know they DO exist to INFORM people whether or not they need to free up some space on their hard drive, or inform people how long they might be waiting to install the game, so they don't just run out and get it and get all excited and hyped up, only to be disappointed that they will hav...

"The wii came out and everyone hated the name and hated now it's people like it. The wii U people were saying how stupid it was now people like it."

No, as far as I can tell from all the people I know who own a Wii, they still hate the name and think it's stupid. I don't think I've ever actually heard anyone say they like the name.

Am I just extremely lucky or something? Because not once have I encountered a single problem either of you two are complaining about.

I barely ever get metro, I've never gotten kicked (had a few times where I've gotten disconnected from ea servers, but only like twice), and I've been playing this game quite heavily for the past week.

I just got this game close to a week ago, but I'm loving the crap out of it, and I can't say I've ran ...

Nobody bashed Killzone 2 for being too hard. The only thing people really complained about is the controller lag, which is a very reasonable complaint. Some say it's supposed to be like that to add a feeling of weight to the weapons, but the problem with that argument is that you can still have the heavy weapon feeling without having input lag.

As for Starhawk, I like it, but it's a too much team based. I always go for the objective, though in about 80% of the ma...

So even if it wont actually affect the quality of the campaign, (just a delay) you are not going to buy it?

"Why would 2 or 3 FREE new maps be bad thing?"

Because they probably wouldn't make anymore after that. The games that release free dlc these days, only ever release like 1-2 maps, 3 max, for free, and then the game is given up on and no more DLC maps come out for it.

Bad Company 2 I think only had a few maps that came to it, 2 from bad company 1. Resistance 1, 2 and 3 only had a few maps come out for it (I think like 2 per game), Killzone 3 on...

I'm glad they scrapped single player in Warhawk, the game turned out better for it. That fact becomes more and more prevalent as I play through Starhawks campaign.

I mean Starhawks campaign is all right so far, but I sure as hell wouldn't want to play 6/7 more hours of this after the initial 6 hours instead of having no multiplayer mode.

It's good that they don't listen to folks like Bathyj and make it a one mode game, then only he and a very...

I hope so. 6 huge maps (like the ones in Warhawk) would be good enough for me.

Hmm, now that I look at that image again, I notice that it is actually 4 maps. I guess for a second there I thought it was just one map, with 4 different screenshots.

I just got Battlefield 3 yesterday and I love it WAAAYYY more than Bad Company 2. All the maps I've played so far are great, the controls are 100x better than BC2s, the graphics are noticeably (but not largely) better, the weapons are better, the fact that you don't have to unload half a clip of ammunition into an enemy to kill them is better.

Actually, Bad Company 2 was the most disappointing Battlefield game I've ever played. I even enjoyed BC1 and 1943 a lot...

I do appreciate the free DLC, but my main concern with this is that although they will be giving the map(s) out for free, I fear this might not lead to much DLC, maybe only like 2 or 3 maps, at least based on other games that have given out free maps as DLC.

Sure it's nice that it's free, but I'd rather have 6+ maps that I have to pay for, than 2 maps that I don't have to pay for.

I bought all of the Warhawk DLC when it came out and it was awe...

Hopefully they expand upon the amazing multiplayer that was in the second one. That was pretty much the only reason to buy the game.
