Hmm, I wonder if that's actually true, or if it only really applies to people picking up a video game for the first time in their lives.
Anyways, thanks for the info. +bubble
Where is everyone getting this "30 hours" from? I must have missed an article.
Hope Skyrim gets a good sale. Platinum'd it on ps3 and now I found out that you can convert your ps3 save to a pc save, so I can just pick up from where I left my ps3 game.
The mods look pretty good, and a version that runs much faster is very enticing.
No, but fighting games do. Playing against a real person is always better than playing against the cpu in fighting games. You might say "well then play split screen with your friends" or something like that, but not everyones friends have exactly the same tastes, and many probably don't have or don't want to play Budokai HD, but they still want the challenge of a real person.
But no online is not the reason I refuse to buy this game. It would be nice, but...
@steverhude
If you're asking why the PC versions don't look as good as this and not the consoles, then it's probably because they just know and expect more people will do it for them, for free. They'd have to spend a lot of time and money, time and money that doesn't need to be spent, on making it look like this, possibly having to delay the pc version of the game.
Why make put the unnecessary resources into making it look like this when ...
Yeah that would be pretty cool... if it wouldn't run like crap on consoles.
I disagreed with you because you implied that being upset about the omission of a game that should be in there (Budokai 2) is somehow not justified and only a complaint that some spoiled entitled gamer would make.
It's not an HD collection if one of the main titles is missing. I played these games as a kid and while I do enjoy all 3 of them, Budokai 2 was by far my favorite of the bunch.
I was excited when I first heard there would be a Budokai Collect...
Hope it has 2 extra usb ports in front and one in the back for the playstation eye.
A memory card slot reader and a more premium design would be great as well (chrome trim and lettering, touch sensitive buttons, more or better led indicators).
I'd be willing to pay more for a PS3 that looks like the ps3 phat, except slimmer. The slim just doesn't shine like the phat does, I want to be able to see my reflection on my ps3 like I can with the phat :)...
I like Zombies.
It's not so much that I like the concept of rotten corpses trying to kill and eat me, but rather what the zombie enemy type does for gameplay.
Zombies provide a gameplay scenario in which you can have TONS of enemies on screen and a sense of an unlimited threat while still being able to mow that threat down really quickly and stylishly without that threat being way too overpowered (for example, horde of gun wielding humans).
You know they actually recently removed Assassin's Creed Revelations from the qualifying AC titles whenever they decided to match Best Buys $19.99 price (it WAS there when the game costed like 33 bucks from them).
I waited 2 days hoping I was going to get ACR for 10 bucks, only to have them yank ACR from the list. I cancelled my pre-order.
I think I'll just wait for a Black Friday sale and get AC3 for 30 or 40 bucks.

Yahtzee is a terrible reviewer. Funny as hell, but not a very good reviewer.
He intentionally looks for things to hate in games, and when he finds a flaw in a game, no matter how minor or insignificantly small it is and how little it actually detracts from the experience, he amplifies and extremely overstates its impact on the game.
He's a comedy reviewer, not really a serious reviewer, and while he is f*cking hilarious, ...
"It's just a cheaper alternative to hiring more QA testers"
It's also a much more effective alternative as well.
"many people who get into this beta won't report feedback, bugs or issues."
Maybe they wont report the little things (and even then, YOU don't know this at all), but you can be sure that a lot of fans will be vocal about all of the game breaking stuff or extremely obvious problems that will affec...
Yo dawg
Lol, not pre-ordering this. Even among pre-order bonuses, capcom have gone too far.
I don't think this generation is over, but I do think that it's winding down a bit, but in a big way. I think that after all the big titles have released (Beyond, WatchDogs, Bioshock Infinite, The Last Guardian, etc.), the next gen should start. I hope we at least get an announcement next year about a new console.
And I'm not saying the ending to ME3 is perfect, I'm just trying to explain why a few of the complaints people have with it aren't really something to be complained about.
Bioware unfortunately wrote themselves into a corner one too many times, and would have to redo much of the games story to explain some of the faults it currently has (and I think it might look bad if they simply adopted the fan theory of indoctrination, people would complain that they steal ide...
If that "lazy" plot device wasn't there, everybody would be dead, and the good guys wouldn't have won in ANY scenario. They are reapers for a reason. They're not just some enemy that can always be killed with a single, well placed shot, these things have wiped out TONS of superior civilizations/races before the current cycle, they're experts at it, and they're impervious to an all out assault from the current cycle for a reason, because they keep getting better...
"People would have liked the option to destroy them. Also the option to not destroy them. In short, what is the point of the entire game if you can't win?"
You have both of those options. You can destroy the reapers and win, and you can leave them alone if you like (with the newest ending).
"What is the point of the entire game if you can't see what you spent your entire game doing play out for you?"
Uh, fun? Bui...
I personally liked the ending I chose when I first completed the game (synthesis), so I don't really see why people hate the endings THAT much.
I'm assuming that people were expecting to be able to destroy the reapers with all the forces they accumulated, and that in the end you would be able to do so because of all the war assets you've accumulated, correct? And that you're pissed because you couldn't?
People wanted to see an all out war...
No Budokai 2, my favorite one of the three.
