@soldierone
I do the majority of my tv show watching on Netflix, so there's no commercial breaks, and also, after watching 4 or 5 seasons back to back whenever I want, I'm fine with waiting a little while for the new ones to come on, it builds up anticipation for me.
I've only watched a little bit of Falling Skies, but I couldn't finish an episode, and that might not be an example of the best tv has to offer. But there are plenty of great tv shows ou...
My favorite is TV shows. Not that reality crap, but shows like Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Dexter, Arrested Development, Dead Like Me, Warehouse 13, Eureka, Community, Psych, Firefly, and just so many more that would take me a long time to name.
TV shows are better than movies (imo) because they actually allow for character development and allow you to form an attachment to the characters. In movies, unless it's a sequel, you have about 2 hours to get attached to a ...
@Spenok
Yeah, it is surprisingly addictive and fun. It's the most fun I've had in a multiplayer game in a long time. I honestly thought it was going to suck before the game came out, but nothing could be further from the truth.
But I spent way too much time on it and ended up getting burnt out on it. I think the amount of time I spent with the MP, I could have completed the single player with all of the side missions about 3 or 4 times.

@Jazz4108
Go away troll.
@NYC_Gamer
I do both. Reviews do help sometimes though. They're not THE deciding factor as to whether or not I purchase a game, but they are one of many, as I cannot just simply purchase everything I'm interested in.
I'll watch a review, and if it gets a good score. If it does, I'll watch more footage and read more about the features. If it still looks and sounds interesting enough, I'll get it, provided I can spend the money at the ti...
I got the collectors edition as well, but damn, that's how much it was back in the day? I don't remember the price of it when I bought it. Kind of a rip off of a collectors edition compared to todays CEs.
A special box and a making of blu-ray with a soundtrack on it I believe was all that was in there.
For that price these days, you usually get that, plus a really cool and pretty well detailed statue, and two little trinkets (like a belt buckle, a rin...
When I heard the name "ZombieU", I thought, oh, this sounds like some crappy on rails zombie shooter game whose only reason for existing is to show off the "innovative possibilities of the wii U".
It doesn't seem to be like that though (though I haven't really looked or read too much into it), but it is a terrible title. It SOUNDS cheap and gimmicky.
@PoSTedUP
Jesus, I'd hate to see you when a fast food place messes up your order.
PoSTedUP: A big mac?! WTF IS THIS SH*T!!! I told those stupid f*cking morons double cheeseburger with mustard only. F*CK OFF AND DIE A SLOW DEATH YOU MCDONALDS A*HOLES!!! RAAARRGGGH!!!!!
I'll wait until I see more. Who knows, maybe it's Bad Company style (or something different) gameplay but they just changed the name to a full title instead of having "bad company" because it will probably sell better as BF4 than BC3.
But unlike the children here on n4g, I'm not going to flip out just yet, over what is JUST a title no less. I'll wait until I see some gameplay or hear something about it to criticize.
And STILL no usb port in the back...
/facepalm
"and BFBC2 MP"
No thanks. I'd rather have something different, and if it has to be similar to a previous BF game, BC2 is the worst choice they could go with (imo). I'd rather have something similar to BC1 or 1943.
In my opinion, Bad Company 2 was the worst Battlefield game I've ever played, though still good. I had more fun with Bad Company 1, Battlefield 1943 and of course, Battefield 3.
That said, I would like more destruction physics in the next game, but aside from that, in my opinion, Battlefield 3 beats BC2 in every way (controls, fluidity of gameplay, features, the amount of customization and depth to the weaponry and squad perks, map design, re-playability, and just overal...
Yes, it is, and it's terrible. I stupidly and very regrettably bought it for 5 bucks. It's incredibly awful.
"Whats "wrong" with labeling Facebook game players as PC gamers?"
Because it brings up a lot of confusion and disappointment and wastes time.
Say for instance you meet someone who claims to be a gamer. Right there, it is assumed that that person shares your interests and you get excited for a bit, thinking that you may be able to discuss and/or play games with them. But then you find out that they don't even own a single console or a...
For once, I'll have to agree with LOGICWINS.
Seriously though, what's wrong with using Netflix on a console? As LWs pointed out, it's not simply a decision of being a gamer vs being a movie/tv enthusiast.
I LOVE television shows (the good ones, not reality crap) and I also love games, movies are okay. Having one machine that serves all my favorite entertainment up to me seamlessly and effortlessly is an incredibly awesome experience. Using Ne...
"Yes I hate(strong dislike) Gears because of the steroid pumped bland characters and story."
So you never liked Gears at all, which means your opinion is worth absolutely nothing when it comes to Gears. Just f'cking ignore it then. I hate all those stupid Madden and NCAA games, but I don't think they should die off just because they're not for me. Other people still enjoy them.
But apparently you're so selfish that you think if a ...
I think I read about a week ago that they increased the chances of getting the new stuff from the reinforcement packs, like if you had all character customization options unlocked for a certain character, you would stop seeing them.
Glad I waited to replay this instead of replaying it without trophies, now it will feel like a brand new game.
Since they're adding trophies, they should add a f*cking *INSTALL ALL* option, so I don't have to spend 30 minutes or however long it took between chapters. Even if it's 30-50gb, I don't care, I have a 500gb hard drive.
Honestly this seemed pretty tame and intelligent in comparison to the times I've ran into children in CoD matches.
These kids sound a bit dumb and naive, and a little bit elitist, but at least they're not running their mouths off spouting obscenities and racial/homophobic slurs. I don't think they ever really cursed all that much either.
I'd rather see this guy troll the little sh*ts who, in addition to being like the kids in the video, also ...
I bought BF3 on ps3 back when it was on sale for 19.99 at Best Buy and was loving it so much at the time, I stupidly and prematurely bought Back to Karkand. Then the BF3 Premium rumors started flying about and then it was announced and I was kind of pissed off.
Had I just played the base game and waited and not bought Karkand, BF3 premium would have been an insta-buy for me, because I love the game, it's my goto FPS multiplayer game, but now that I've already bought ...
