Lol, just because you have to figure it out yourself by piecing together stupid details from item descriptions and subtle hints from NPCs, that doesn't make it a good story, and it certainly isn't good storytelling.

I'm not sure, but I think you have to have your account set to allow promotions and the like to be emailed to you to be able to get these free games, so if you didn't get an email (as I haven't) then that's probably why.

Skyrim actually has a real story. That's one reason why it gets more attention and awards than Dark Souls.
Another reason, I'm willing to admit, is that it looks just too frustrating to play. But that's not why I've dismissed the game, I've avoided buying it, because even if I were willing to die over and over and over and over again just to get better at the game and eventually master it, it's still not worth the frustration or time.

Never said you couldn't have your own opinion. But it is my opinion that you used a crappy example for #1 and have terrible taste in games if you consider cod games (at least anything after 4) to be great.
A better example for #1 would be cod. Even though AC games are mainly rehashes, they're still good games. The same can't be said for cod.

Well he sounds a lot better in Revelations, but if we're comparing young Ezio (AC2 through Brotherhood I consider that to be young Ezio) to Altair, then hands down, Altair wins by a mile.

Not really. At least not from what I've played of AC2 and Brotherhood. Going to pick up Revelations soon.
Ezio is kind of annoying. He hasn't really matured much as a person since AC2, and he has this "Yeah, I'm awesome" arrogance to him that's just puts me off his character. He's grown enough on me for me to get to the point where I don't 'hate' him anymore, but Altair is a much better character.
Oh how I wish that game would be remastered. That game would look even more amazing with no jaggies.

I never played any RE other than 4 and 5, but I really enjoyed both, and 5 had some of the most fun co-op I've ever played, so I expect I'll enjoy it
RAGE worked pretty damn well for me. I can't remember a single occurrence of the framerate dropping to an unacceptable level, and while many people complain about the texture pop in, I hardly noticed it. It only ever appeared on the far away stuff and always fixed itself pretty fast.
This is on ps3 btw. I have heard that it was pretty broken on pc, so maybe that's what you're talking about.

If you're having problem with EA PS3 games, just link your ps3 profile to your EA Account, and I think it auto logs you onto every EA game I believe.

In one of E3 G4 interviews they did, they said that if you choose to play alone, you wont have an AI partner with you, it will just be you.
They actually said in an interview that those who wish to opt out of co-op will be alone, there will be no AI partner with you, just you.
I really hope that's the case.
