Remember that last trailer? That was all in-game cinematics. I'm a big fan of Gears of War, and looking foward to Gears 2. But they aren't coming close to those graphics.
Actually, Home will be just like the other great Sony products like MGS4, GT5P, Blu-Ray, and Free Online gaming.
It will get little to no advertisements on Television and the market will not know anything about how it works.
The biggest Epic Fail of Sony is their marketing team.
Last generation there was plenty of awesome commercials for the PS2 games. Now? They go back to stupid crack ads that makes no sense and probably makes people less interested....
"not having all of those extra features is why I like x360 better."
You sound like my friend Brian who bought his base Evo IX GSR for $35,000.
When my brother bought his Evo IX SE for $31,500 fully loaded and includes H.I.D headlights, BBS rims, leather seats, SE front lip, Aluminum roof, and 6-disc changer. None of which his car includes.
Then brian makes the excuse "Well I don't need all those features anyway that I don't have to pay for...
Option A PS3 - Built-in Wifi - Free online 1 year to forever - Blu-Ray player (no need to buy add-on) - 80gb HDD - Dualshock 3 No batteries needed
All for $399
Option B Arcade 360 $199 - Buy a WiFi Adapter $99 (don't give me that stupid "oh you can just connect directly with the ethernet cable" excuse. Welcome to 2008 people) - Pay for xbox Live $50 (only one year) ...

OPEN ZONE is to the right
lol that is pretty funny how they act like they own it
Right, that and japanese people are going to jump over the 2009 chevys, fords, and dodges where they support their home economy. /sarcasm

Banjo must have been playing a lot of Halo 3.

Well when you got examples like Resistance and the Cathedral throwing a hissy fit for being in the game, it's hard for developers to try and dig in.
Religion is a very sensitive subject.

If anything is a rip-off, the 360 Avatars is a straight rip-off of the Wii Avatars.

That's why Home is Free and is an optional service for those who want to use it.
Doesn't mean you have to use it in order to play games.
I enjoy X360 ads more. Why? Because I always see them, and hardly any PS3 ads at all on TV.
Sony Marketing, get up off your arse already.
they'll have plenty of money to buy more third party exclusives. cause people know exclusives are exclusives even if they came from mars.
but Sony does have the advantage of the exclusives being 100% forever exclusives when they make their own games.
3.3 is the biggest troll of them all
"N4G has more PS3 fans in 360 threads than 360 fans, outnumbering them 4 to 1 in most cases."
Back in 2006, 360 fans outnumbered PS3 fans by 10 to 1.
The table's turned 360 degrees. Punn intended.
Bruceongames is worse than Kotaku simply because he acts like he KNOWS anything about video games. Kotaku is just annoying.
The author is complaining about a FREE service... that alone kills any credibility he has.
"every Ps3 would have a 20$ HDMI cable, or at the very least component cable in it"
I'd rather have Sony pack in a built-in Wifi and blu-ray player than a $20 HDMI cable that I can just buy off monoprice for $10.
People like spending $99 on a wifi adapter, just as long as they get they're $20 HD cable. /sarcasm
