Being 55% more Sony Fan here, I'm going to have to say that the Sony Marketing team really just sucks. Microsoft's marketing team knows what the people want, and how to deliver it.

Herein lies the problem. I very much agree with that statement. But, it's too often people say things about the PS3, yet don't know a single thing about it. Same goes for the 360.

15 Year olds probably want some good ol Gears of War or Halo 3. And some Call of Duty 4 would be nice. Guitar Hero probably in there too. And ah yes, cant forget the hardcore racing games like Forza 2 and PGR4. Bioshock is also a good one. Dead rising, oooh a favorite among many. Such an awesome back catalogue.

It might not be Blu-Ray. It could just be something else entirely. But come on folks, there's at least 3-5 more years before a new PS is out. Nobody knows at this point what's cooking at Sony's HQ.
Very interesting tidbit. The only way we'll truely see if it pays off, is when the actual DLC releases.
But what I was just saying in the other post, I would have just loved a brand new IP with that kind of budget. I mean $50 million, profit or not. For the love of gamers (especially the 360 fanbase), it'd be awesome to see something like Killzone 2 (or better) on the 360.

Amen, with that budget. They could have easily made a super "AAA" game that could trump Killzone 2 and Gears of War 2 or at least be in the same league. Then they could have gloat about how their first party studio is pumping out another AAA game.

I think trying to convince Omega4 that the PS3 is a valueable games console capable of handling all kinds of media including blu-ray, also with tons of insanely high quality games like MGS4, Uncharted, Ratchet, GT5, God of War III (you'll see), Resistance 2, Killzone 2, etc. etc. is harder than convincing a Rock.
Heck, I'd sell a rock a PS3 and 360 by now. But nope, not Omega4. He's living in dreamland where the 360 pumps out ONLY "AAA" games like Too Human. And super ...
If you want to list the "WOW THAT LOOKS AWESOME" games. All you really need is God of War III. Quite possibly the only game other than Killzone 2 in the PS3's lineup that people will consider "Badass" and "Surplus of awesome Gore" and a true "Man's Game" type thing.
