@Anton
Seriously, those screenshots look like crap compared to these:

All the PS3 vs 360 graphics comparison ends up moot with these titles alone.
GT5 Prologue
Wipeout HD
Killzone 2
Ratchet & Clank Future
Show me a 360 game that comes close to the amount of detail in GT5 Prologue. Each car is made up of almost 200,000 polygons. Show me a 360 game that can run ...
I'd take Resistance 2 over Crysis any day. Crysis could come alive and hit me in the face and i'd still take R2 over it.
but comparing a console to a super high end PC is flat out ignorant.
for me they don't even stream correctly. and i'm using a damn t1 line at work.
Why does user-generated content always have to include Penis's. Why not make some Vaginas for once. Sheesh.
Blah blah blah blah blah blah "Why didn't HD-DVD winnnnnnnn"
is all i see from these articles
At the start of your post, i thought it was just some anti-sony rant. But you're right though, let's stop hyping up stuff before anything's even going to happen. Just like E3 2008 where people were hyping up some super crazy killer announcement to rival the FFXIII announcement. Didn't happen.
I know, it's not like the more people that know about it are really going to do anything.
But programs like Folding@home could have a better overall impact on a hope to cure cancer.
Nintendo was golden with the NES/SNES/N64/GC. Today they are magic wizards who don't make video games anymore but come out with weird magical things like Wii Music and will sell millions of copies.
It has a very good chance at being GOTY. Cause so far there are nothing but positive reviews from anyone who picks it up and play it.
@1.3
It's true companies are still making games for the PC. But in comparison to console game sales, they aren't that great. Which is the whole point of the argument.
Before, the kind of graphics that we see from the 360/PS3 was only possible on a PC back then. But today, people prefer a console that you don't have to constantly upgrade just to play.
Because if graphics was the number 1 determining factor for game sales, then the PS2 would have never hi...
Free Radical, take note. That's how you make a flame thrower for a video game.
This is purely speculation on what Sony's going to do.
But don't be too surprised folks if it turns out to be true. Anything can happen. Bioshock went to the PS3. FFXIII is going to the 360. Sony could charge for online play.
Which IMO, would be their biggest downfall. If Sony ever charges for their online play, I'm getting Xbox Live.
Sounds like you're trying to judge the game, but there's not enough information about it yet.
I'd hit that while playing games
Fat Princess is going to be the next big PSN game mwahahahaha
I think this article has made me went from "Interested" to "must buy."
I want the mind melting 1080p!!!
Now all we need, is for them to teach other developers a thing or two about making games in 1080p. Hopefully, this is the start of future PS3 games being in 1080p.
well if you like sharing games, then you might like some PSN games that you can just split between your friends. For example, Wipeout HD is $20. But you can split it with a friend and each pay $10. you just have to use the account of whoever bought it and download it. PSN games can be downloaded 5 times.
So if you happen to have 5 friends that wanna split, a $20 game will only cost you each $4.
to add to that, some people like buying pre-owned games because usually they work just like brand new ones. it's just a disc for crying out loud.
it's not the same as if you bought a 5 year old toyota. sure it's going to be used up and not work as good as new. but a game now will be the exact same game 5 years from now (assuming the disc works).
Ah another useless close-minded 360 commenter with nothing to contribute to a good discussion.
OH it's N4G, never mind.
