Yeah, I don't get what's the insane big deal about this to make people want to trade in their current PS3s to get one? I mean yeah it could run cooler and be possibly quieter. But the previous models does the exact same thing and play PS3 games.
Unless the new chip actually makes PS3 games run noticably smoother, then maybe. But I don't think that's the case.

Yeah but it's not even just that. There's also 7.1 surround or TrueHD. Blu-Rays also is capable of the highest bitrates in any form of media today. Blu-ray also features full documentaries and extras in HD. Something that DD will NEVER offer. All we get right now from DD is a 720p two channel stereo output with a crappy bitrate.

Yeah Sony's going to the broke house now aren't they? There's a couple small things that Sony owns that will keep them from being bankrupt. It's called Sony Corp. Which consists of TVs, Computers, Cameras, Music Studios, Movie Studios, Game consoles, etc.

I have nothing against tordavis (like you do) but you are right. Uncharted has many other things that are considered to be "superior" than gears of war. Granted, gears of war is my favorite 360 game ever and it's the gameplay that got people hooked. But technically Uncharted is more advanced because of the animations. And not to mention Drake is 30,000 polygons and Marcus is 15,000 polygons.
Sure, like you and all the other 360 owners who claim to have PS3s, yet don't know a single thing about it.

Actually, from a Visual Standpoint one can argue that Gears of War looks just as good or better than Uncharted. But from a technical standpoint, Uncharted > Gears of War.
Drake is made up of about 30,000 polygons.
Fenix is about 15,000.
The enemies that Drake shoot at, is made up of 12,000-15,000 polygons.
And it shows. Look at all the different animations Drake can do. Then look at Fenix. Huge difference.

Actually I think you're underestimating Motorstorm PR. The original sold about 3.4 million copies world wide. Granted, a lot of those were because of the 80gb Bundle. But standalone sales could still be in the 2 million range. Which is still really good.
Resistance 1 sold about 3 million copies. Not extremely grand or nothing, but still considered very well.
Resistance 2 should be at least the same or more. We shall see.
