Good stuff. This has been in limbo since the German Release in February of this year.
This is apparently much like the first two, so I'm expecting a great point-and-click.
Considering that Level 5 are not on good terms with Microsoft, and the Dark Cloud games only being on Playstation platforms, it's not suprising that any future Dark Cloud games would be PS3 exclusives.
Actually, Batman, the PS3 is selling on almost a par with it's predecessor. I don't know where you're getting the idea it's selling worse.
Does your TV run at 120fps, Zhuk?
Yeah, didn't think so. There hasn't even been a 120fps TV made yet. The PS3 could quite possibly be capable of running 120fps, but there haven't been enough advancements in TVs to use it. Why, people are taking some time to upgrade to HDTVs as it is.
Madden runs at 720p, 30fps on PS3. Ninja Gaiden Sigma runs at native 1080p at 60fps on PS3.
How you can call a console that doesn't run games in native 1080p a "t...
This was known since it's announcement. Nothing new here.
I have a DS and a PSP. The PSP is better. Perhaps it's lacking in software quantity, but what's there is high quality.
Luca Blight's in it, so it must be right! :P
You still flipping the "No Games!" card?
You should keep up with the releases. I'm getting seven games for my PS3 over the next three months. No games, eh?
For broadcasting, aye, 720p and 1080i are what'll be used. However, Blu-Ray and HD-DVD are both compatible with 1080p, and pretty much every film comes with a 1080p option. That's why it's useful to have a 1080p TV.
Heh, ditto. I was the same. I was thinking "What, retailers are hosting videos now!?" :D
There won't be as much confusion in Europe. We've only had the 60GB up to now, this is the first time we get a second SKU. Pachter mustn't know this, since he mentions the 20GB, 40GB, 60GB, and 80GB SKUs, two of which never saw Europe. If/When the 40GB is released in the States, I can see why there would be a deal of confusion. As it stands in Europe, though, there won't be much confusion.
Not only that, but you get two games as well. The 60GB is much greater value, hence the name "Value Pack," I suppose.
I wonder if a 100GB disc would even be used.
Kojima's next game, anyone? :D
How come you have two copies of Resistance? :)
Buy the 60GB, then, like I am. It still has BC.
Heh, a Game manager told me two weeks ago that there'll be an important PS3 announcement coming. There'd better still have some 60GBs there next weekend, since Verty's getting his own personal PS3!
Will the 360 have the highest sales and highest attach rate in the year/two years this game will take to finish development? 'Tis something to question.
As far as I'm aware, they simply don't have the service. They don't have it in Brazil, either. A friend of mine is getting a PS3 over there since there's no Live Coverage in the country.
Because games on the 360 are subject to less scrutiny than PS3 games, especially on a divisive issue such as cut-scene length. Some like a lot of cut-scenes, like myself, and others cry out that they "Want to play a game, not watch a movie!"
Just because we're not seeing gameplay footage of Final Fantasy XIII doesn't mean Square-Enix aren't working with the engine as we speak. :)
