I agree, but the Uncharted Demo isn't a good example. It didn't work initially, but, the next day, they fixed the problem. There was a lot of hoo-hah on the PSBlog about it.
Don't be surprised if it doesn't work. It wouldn't shock me at all if the EU version of MGO is region-locked. Besides, since it'd run at PAL 50Hz, you'd need a HD setup to see anything.
I've it pre-ordered here in Ireland, and the clerk knew about it there. He said he'd call when they got them in.
Although, it doesn't look like we'll get our codes through the Saga DVD at this point. Chances are, as was said above, everyone can join it, or Konami will distribute codes from their website.
Hm, that special emphasis placed on the PS3, in particular how it says that PS3 experience is required, makes me think that the PS3 is Bioshock 2's lead platform...
American boxart is sometimes different then what is released in Europe and Japan. Look at the numerical Final Fantasy titles: Japan and Europe get the logo, the U.S. gets it's own creation.
I'm not saying that's what going to happen with MGS4, I'm just pointing it out.
It's the last Metal Gear Solid.
It's not the last Metal Gear. I wouldn't be surprised if Kojima played some role in future games, just not directing.
Haha, what, you got something to hide? :P
You have my word. You've made too many comments, anyway. :)
"GT is for a novice car junkie. More arcade than sim."
Is that why some racers practice by playing GT?
Nothing personal, I just took it as a challenge.
On page 93 of your comments, 283 days ago, you said:
"dont get me wrong im a true MS fanboy
but Sony has a successful history and a ton of followers
...regardless of how sh!tty the games are
lol...lair!"
It's still sorta neutral, thanks to the middle sentence, but that's the greatest deviation from neutraility I found. :)
I have the EU version, and I never came across that bug. You may find that, in the future, if Epic charge for content, (admittedly unlikely), you won't be able to get it, since it'll be in dollars.
As for the patch, you'll be downloading the American patch, since, as far as the game is concerned, that's your nationality.
Negatory. For all online multiplayer gametypes, there are about 50 servers open at any one time, and, sometimes, just as much for the Campaign Co-op.
It's not as active as Warhawk, but there's always someone playing. Not that you'd know how active Warhawk is. >_>
You get through an MGS in 10 hours? MGS3 took me 26 hours to complete.
Eh? Wasn't Socom: Confrontation only being released over the PSN?
DVD will be replaced, whether the consumer likes it or not. The movie studios will see to that.
A misleading title about a story regarding a misleading title. I don't see a problem.
Waiting is an integral part of this industry, whether we like it or not.
Hah, the other story was posted and approved while I was making this! :D
C'est la vie.
My point is, that only people like you, Bladestar, who simply want to bash the console, find this a problem. Why are you complaining when it doesn't affect you?
Besides, do you really think a 100GB game will come out? If that becomes a neccessity, MS would definitely have a problem. It won't, though.
Capcom are only doing installs because they want the best possible performance out of their games. They could run from the Blu-Ray if they wanted to, (and they shoul...
Actually, they explained that Naughty Dog "didn't know" that the U.S. Store could be accessed by users from other regions. They fixed it in a couple of days. That's the official story, at least.
