That 50 million was a loan, just like all of Microsoft's investments. And I've heard of SimplyGames before, they've been around a while, so you're point's a little moot.
Still seems suspect, though. Especially that release date. R* would want to be announcing it pretty soon.
And would I get it if they did? Yup. Always said I would.
We are the Borg. Lower your shields, and surrender your beta codes. We will stress test your servers and give critique and advice. Your game will adapt to service our desires. Resistance is futile.
I thought a PS3 would be number one! ;)
"I have a feeling it will get delayed to early 2011. Cos we haven't seen any footage or concept art yet"
That may happen, but not for that reason. Think of Chinatown Wars PSP. We only got the first screenshots last week, and it's out next month!
For now.
Once both episodes have been out for a while, get the majority of their sales...THEN they'll make the announcement. If they were to announce the PS3 episodes now, it'd hamper the profitability of their disc release.
Should be beginning in the next ten minutes. Here's hoping for some new Mass Effect 2 footage, and perhaps an announcement of a new game or two. :)
New adventure IP would be more-than-welcome.
Chances are, that this "new IP" is another game from the Star Wars IP? 70%, IMO.
They'll be keeping a liveblog, not a live video stream. I'd imagine Eurogamer will be blogging about it too, but I don't expect a live stream.
They may put a recording of it on the Playstation Store, since they did do that for Leipzig last year.
It's certainly not complete, though. We know R* will be showing off The Ballad of Gay Tony. Also, the USK passed two Lost and the Damned trailers.
I'd imagine that list will be at least twice as long by the time the show's over.
Hah. The title made me think it wasn't going to get the patch at all.
All things considered, that'd be much worse.
Is it hosted anywhere other than iTunes? I'm not going to download the whole program just for one podcast...
I have every Level-5 game that's been released in the West. Even Jeanne d'Arc, which never released in Europe. I loved Level-5 from the day I played the Dark Cloud demo.
How they've grown since then. The only way they can improve is to get their games released in the West quicker. We get White Knight Chronicles over a year after Japan, and we're only getting Professor Layton 2 this Q3, and they're developing the fourth for release in Japan...
Looks like it's got nothing to do with VII. The countdown expired, just to begin again with a VI. It looks like it's just a countdown of the days.
I'd still love Vagrant Story II. The colour of the background is reminiscent of it's art style.
I call gamescom announcement.
What better venue?
Definitely: Brutal Legend, Assassin's Creed 2, Modern Warfare 2, Uncharted 2, Dragon Age Origins, Left 4 Dead 2. Ouch.
Thank the Nine Divines that BioShock 2 got delayed...
Ugh, just what we need, another awful movie.
I don't get American humour at all...
And, oh, a Shoryuken. Clever.
Sounds like the guy who did the opening movied to the Dragonball Z Budokai games. Might it be?
Not much to get excited about yet, but I look forward to seeing more of this game.
That's...probably the dullest unboxing I've ever seen!
There're analog sticks on the PS3 controllers, and, of course, there's two of them, both with pointers, and each have 1:1 support, rather than just a single Wiimote with Wii MotionPlus.
Oh yeah, and one's on a HD console. ;)
Nonetheless...
