JUST got Chinatown Wars for the DS for €12.99.
Huh...
I wonder if it'll be free on the PC again...
"Or worse... you could be willingly playing a bad game for the plot."
I have done this numerous times, and find no folly in it. Just how a bad plot can be overcome by great gameplay, poor gameplay can be overcome by an interesting plot. As long as enjoyment can be gleaned from it, does it matter?
Or...maybe that's what Kojima wants us to think!
We can't take anything for granted. All I'll take from this is the knowledge bestowed in this article, and the knowledge that Kojima says he feels Metal Gear is a Playstation franchise... :3
That was always the case.
If people were really making their gaming choices off of Yahtzee's opinion, they wouldn't have played anything since Silent Hill 2! :)
"Can the PSP Go! Be Hacked!?" It hasn't even been announced yet!
How can any reasonable conclusion be drawn when we know close to nothing about it?
Well, the Wii's sold almost 50 million. I'd be surprised if it only takes 3-5 years to outdo that. ;)
Odd that he considers the 360 as the market leader...
I wonder if the new guy will give us such delicious headlines? I'm going to miss 'ol Reevesy...
I got the Enhanced Edition a few days ago, and it's a really stunning game, a type you don't see too often anymore.
Added with all the swag you get in the Retail version...buy it, fantastic title.
Of course the PS3 version is getting DLC. The exclusive Microsoft content would be your Horse Armour/Wizard's Tower/one or two Knights of the Nine-style downloads...but the inevitable expansion pack will be on PS3 too.

I'm amazed how quickly this is coming out, personally. Their "50% complete" comment must have been an exaggeration, or they were only working on it during their lunchbreaks until July...
Good news, nonetheless. My life could use a bit more Suikoden injected into it.
I count three 360 exclusives.
Don't label PC-360 games as 360 exclusive. I don't have a 360, but I'll be playing them.
No, it's very slightly different, halfway through the refrain. I've played every Zelda game, many multiple times. In the hundreds of times I've heard that tune, I'll tell you there is a slight difference.
Extraordinarily slight, however.
Perhaps they're disagreeing, not with your comment, but silently telling you that Warhead's development led to a better optimised engine.
Busy month. CoD:WaW, Resistance 2, Gears 2, Fable II, Valkyria Chronicles...
You have to remember that, in the past, there has been truth to what he says. Take Final Fantasy X for example; in Europe, we received the Dark Aeons and the Penance boss battle. In Japan, this got released as the International version...and the U.S. never got them.
Anyway, SCEE have been pretty good lately as far as releasing games close to, if not the same week as the U.S. versions. Their main failures would be the huge delay in the DualShock 3 release, and the long wait for ...
Not all of us can go to independent retailers, of course. I'm getting this from Play.com, since my only other choice is Gamestop.
I choose the lesser of two evils.
Hey... Scarecrow, are you Michael Pachter? Only he could predict such inaccurate sales numbers.
In many ways, Haze was misunderstood as well. Take the Mantel troopers into account, they're a mirror of the European perspective of the U.S. Army. I don't recall one review that I've read from an American publication that understood that. The U.S. President, who you hear between bouts of online multiplayer, is also a copy of George Bush.
The game spent most of it's time making jokes about the States. Of course, I'd be a lot more critical of the game were it not for 4-player on...
"it really isn't as bad as many people are making it out to be, but it's nowhere near a flagship exclusive like Gears of War"
Switch around a couple of names, and you could be talking about Haze...
If a PC version is made, where SK addresses the critique, I may consider buying it, though. Like Haze, a pleasant experience is no doubt hidden behind the bad development decisions.
E3 certainly made it clear. We can see all the innovative games that have been developed for these devices, and we can see the full extent of what each can accomplish.
Oh, wait...
