What is the high bar being set? Amount of content? It's a bad thing when it comes to AC Valhalla where everyone says the game is bloated.
I google bg3 performance and there are a ton of people complaining about performance. And there are still bugs including a save bug that would have you lose all your progress that could be fixed now but launched with it.

There is no loss of money for a game company in licensing movie rights. The movie studio takes the risk.
The only risk is damaging the IP if the movie studio makes a bad product like the resident evil netflix show.
But it could help the IP and lead to more game sales if its good like with the last of us where an increase in sales of the game happened. Or the Sonic and Mario movies.
The game is 50$. It's on the ubisoft plus subscription service day one on PC and Xbox so you can get a month for 20$(or a dollar for first time) and beat it comfortably.
But apparently they have some items for sale that 80% of games sell as well....so anti consumer!!!! They are destroying the industry!!!

That's the price of almost every port to another system. Switch ports are 60 while the ps4/5 version is under 20. I guess all of their pricing is insulting?
Ha! That's how i played elden ring as well. PS4 version on PS5 had the best framerate. Hopefully PS5 armoured core 6 is 60...
Complete edition is 24.99 as well on psn right now.
It's a free upgrade if you bought the ps4 version at least.

The change away from turn base started with XI that came out in 2002.
This is as tiresome as people still complaining about over the shoulder camera and action in RE4(and every RE after) isn't RE.
At some point you just have to accept that a franchise will drastically change gameplay styles with each entry. Or be deranged and still complain about it 20 years after they first made the change.
Really love the action combat direction of FFXVI and FF7R. Hope they keep it.
The only FF i really dislike is FFXII and the MMO'S so as long as it's not like those i am good.
I guess you just don't like jrpgs then because they all have long cutscenes. Persona games have 4-5 hour intros without much combat for example.
