That would be awesome. The ps1 version has not aged well. But it didn't sell enough. People are lucky Namco picked up the franchise and gave us the Xenosaga trilogy. Square is busy with KH3, FFXV DLC and Marvel games now. But maybe a cheaper outsourced team.. Very low chance of happening.
They aren't really being sold by Amazon. But by sellers through the site. Which I assume is like buying off eBay? Either way I don't think this is official sega business. And releasing yakuza 1 again will affect Kiwami sales. Because it's a remake of the 1st one. Just people trying to rip you off. Shop around if you really want the whole saga on your shelf.

Honestly if you're going to buy the switch without Zelda... What are you doing?! If you're getting a switch I assume you're not getting horizon. That out of the way... Zelda is proven to be always good and this one isn't attached to sometimes inaccurate motion controls vs horizon with superior visuals and cooler looking world.
Less to worry about on the Zelda front due to track record but horizon is being developed by a mainly first person shooter develope...
RE7 was a little lacking in content. I took me 7 hours to beat the game the first time. People keep saying that it's fine because it's as long as the ps1 RE's. And not just length. Enemy variety as well. That's not acceptable when there is paid dlc coming out a week later. It should have been in the game. Game engine is just ok, so I don't know where the budget went to. I liked human revolution but when I tried mankind divided (ps4) the combat felt off, ran poorly and just sold the game after 5 hours. I guess I'm just not into it anymore. And the first deus ex is influential not the new square Enix version. The new games are just simply good. And don't blame squarenix, because they actually revived the dead series.
They can't keep making games that don't sell because the original was groundbreaking.

Honestly I would have paid more for a team ico game. Ico and shadow of the colossus were amazing so I would have paid in full even if it got 2's from reviews. When a studio gives me 2 or 3 gems in a row the next game gets bought sight unseen. :)

I can see why it isn't selling like crazy. Honestly the game is just you leading a awesome looking creature out of a castle. I was frustrated at the beginning...but the majestic creature grows on you. The creature is unlike anything you've ever interacted with in a videogame. One of a kind videogame. Pick it up.
They are all unique experiences besides tales and yakuza. Those two follow the same formula every year I'll admit. If you're bored playing all of those games you're not into games anymore...

And those things happened because they rebooted the franchise. Capcom actually said they wanted God of War sales numbers as a reason for the reboot. Another DMC2 like money grabbing mistake.
Some of it was opinion. DmC sold half of what DMC4 sold. RE4 got away with rebooting up the game play of the franchise because what they introduced was game changing third person perspective. RE7 is rebooting up the gameplay but offering common first person perspective and gameplay. What was 100% false?
No other famous re characters were used as the main or supporting characters. Except for a cameo. And articles mentioning raccoon city incident years ago does not make it canon. All other numbered titles had character or plot connections. This is random people interacting with random people. Not Chris redfield after wesker, Jill escaping raccoon city before it blows or Leon and Ada's adventure in Spain.
Developers love that people will not expect high end visuals from a machine that can't handle them and therefore lower development costs. Developers love making games that look like last gen games but can charge full price for them.
