From the small snippet of gameplay im interested. And as a fan of demon slayer the girl is giving me nezuko vibes. She's even on your back during gameplay.
As a playstation fan i also believe xbox had the better conference. Because of Atlus. But only slightly.
But if Sony had put the death stranding 2 and FF7REBIRTH trailers at their conference instead of others it would have been the winner. I wonder if it's better to have hype trailers spread out like that so they don't overshadow each other?
It is but the main P3 storyline is still around the 80 hours so it is 60 bucks worth of content. And it is a big graphical upgrade. Compared to the original.
And i can see why they didn't add the female protagonist as they would have to do every cutscene twice. They did it on the psp version because there were no cutscenes(just still images) all that changed was the voice and text.
But maybe i don't care as much because it's a one month game...
GTA and Mario did change. They went from 2d to 3d and their gameplay mechanics changed. So you're saying mario 64 and GTA3 are when the franchise lost it's way?
Franchises change gameplay all the time. RE4, RE7, FFXII, Xeno series, etc. And it's the creators that want to change it. If you don't like it you move on till a FF you like comes out. I didn't throw a temper tantrum when FFXII, XII and XIV came out...i just played other games.
Horizon has a 60fps mode. And after redfall we discovered that alot of people prefer that mode. And before that gotham knights also caught flak for not having a 60fps mode so it's not an issue only brought up for xbox games.
They should be able to if the team wants to. But if they don't want to that is fine as well.

All i know is i want either the FFXVI or the FF7R team making FFXVII though. And i am fine with either of those games combat.
People keep saying theres alot going on but i don't see what it's doing that is more intensive than any other fps or tps.
There's no high end destructible environments or a visual fidelity that is higher than other games that have a 60fps mode.
I don't know about japanese but all the english cast is different. I think it's because some of the OG cast has become famous and require a higher rate. One got a "me too". So it's just cheaper to get a whole new cast.
I'm not that concerned about quality as i like the P5 cast and performances on all spinoffs since. I got used to RE2 remakes new voices so i know it should be fine.

Remake. It will look like persona 5 instead of a ps2 game.
Also all the voice acting is redone with new actors.
Bit weird to compare sales of switch compared to PS5. Especially since P5R PS4 works on PS5 and is basically the same so no reason to upgrade.
On ps4 both versions of P5 launched over 200k. P4G launched on Vita over 100k. Even the ps3 version of P5 launched at 70k. And P5R launched on PS4 with a 9 mil install base and lauched on switch with a 30mil install base. So that 45k is kinda meh...

Don't like that it has the same release window as FF7R...they better be a month apart at least.
Well we will find out during the conference if its an exclusive. And there was a 48 hour embargo on mentioning the non xbox versions of the remasters...so we will only really know for sure it's multiplatform on the 13th.
They are spreading out their trailers i guess. People talking for the last week that spider man 2 was game of the PS show and now FF7Rebirth is the game of this show.
Agree but that's the FF7 nostalgia kicking in as well.
Still buying FFXVI day one though. 22nd can't come soon enough.
Well the second disk probably won't be full. Also a confirmation that the game is actually in the disk and not a glorified digital voucher.

Prefer the story, characters and soundtrack in P3. Wait for the remake to play it as the PS2 originals don't let you control your party members and P3portable(the one that was remastered) is a substantial downgrade visually.

A lot of people say playstation has only spider man this year and when i or anyone bring up the third party exclusives "they" say there are only talking about first party. All the time its said only first party counts.

I have the ps4 edition of 2nd runner(Mars) and it runs great. But i guess if you want to play the original you need the collection.
The war and taking down the fleet sections are highlights that i still remember to this day. Maybe Armoured Core VI will have some dope sections like that.
