In these little twitter teases it's the floating bits of virus infecting the air that really getting me hyped for the Last of Us part II.
I think I can speak on behalf of everyone at N4G and say no one here actually wants to play this.
If true, that IS a lot and it's no wonder a company would take it as it can mitigate some of the development costs and the publishers figure they're not actually losing sales as the people who really want it will buy it from wherever.
It does give us an idea of the sort of money Epic is throwing around, I imagine for Borderlands 3 it was at least double that. Epic is willing to pay it because then it means the people who buy will likely buy again. And if you think a...
It's been so profitable that it looks like the sequel will skip a generation.*
*GTA V was a PS3/360 game, the PS4/XBO edition is a conversion.
I'm going to try and get a ticket.

Good preview. I'm a big fan of Bethesda RPGs and of all the games coming out before Christmas this is the one I'm looking forward to most.
You're not meant to play everything.
There are too many games that are too long and now subscription services with all-you-can-eat buffet of games further compounds the issues. You're not meant to play everything. Once you understand that a zen-like peace allows you to move forward and focus on the titles you really want to play.
But... it's nearly Christmas and there's so much good stuff coming out! And then spring with FF7 Remake, Watch ...
The contract made with Microsoft, likely, means the game can't be released on PS4 unless MS give permission or it was a very long timed exclusive. I think MS would allow it as there's no benefit to forbid Sony doing this. Whilst Insomniac are working on bigger things, good sales might lead to a future sequel.
I've never played one of these games before. I know you're meant to be a good law-abiding driver but what happens if you go decide to go full-on GTA? Does the game suddenly stop or can you do crazy stuff like run-over pedestrians and smash into things?
Kotaku review says “I’m still very early in this very long game” - then maybe wait until you’ve progressed a bit more before writing and publishing an article that slams the game.
I'm very sad to read about this chap Trevor Eastman's and his poor health; stopping all treatment and administering morphine means his time is short. I hope that in his last days the game gives him some fantastic moments of fun. When you're a gamer you never stop loving playing games. My best wishes to him and his family.
Normally when a person is in their last days because of terminal illness their body will be very weak and in pain leaving them confined to bed.
All these Cross-bots trying to jump on the bandwagon!
Yes. And no.
It’s a stand-alone game that newcomers can play, and it has a heritage with the original so returning players may consider it a sequel.

Whilst this will be disappointing for the uber-fan completionists as they cannot reasonably own all the content, for most people it's not an issue as these are unnecessary cosmetic skins that don't affect the game. But it would be good if publishers move back to making all content available to everyone.
VG247 is making a big and very clumsy mistake by trying to draw a parallel between esports and regular sports.
In most physical sports men and women play separately, and because men's sports leagues are more established and profitable the stars get paid more than the stars in women's team - but it is completely understandable that people want more equality with this, and certainly with World Cup squad pay, this will come!
The key difference with ...
