@CaptainTravel. Cnet say Amazon DOES have plans for a cloud gaming service integrated with Twitch.

Yep. I love Assassin’s Creed II. Ezio is such a great character, different from the usual dude-bros and utterly convincing. The setting works and the story that touches on the origins of Christianity before the AC franchise got too convoluted with all the sci-fi lore. Patrice Désilets created a franchise that is compelling and celebrates world history. My favourite.
If third-party game Civilisation VI can work on console then surely Microsoft can bring their own franchise Age of Empires to console. I don't have a PC so this being released on Xbox One would be fantastic and it would broaden out the range of game genres available on Game Pass.
‘Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Will Either Make Or Break EA's Future’.
Incorrect. FIFA Football is EA’s most important and profitable game.
Thanks for your comment Apocalypse Shadow. It sounds like you're one of the lucky ones who is quite comfortable in VR. I've begun acclimatising to the game and it's getting, a bit easier, but a fast turn or step here or there and I'm feeling woozy. Kind of ironic that I love VR but I suffer from motion-sickness!
Ars technica: ‘Sony has a PlayStation Now Problem’ - no it doesn’t. The timing of this article is telling, it’s a response to the story yesterday where Sony said they respect their first-party games too much to give them away at launch.
It's the right decision.
Look at The Last of Us part 2, it's set to become one of the bestselling PS4 games ever (it has a realistic shot at 15 million units). BUT, if it was included in PS Now at launch just think of the amount of people who would choose not to buy it and pay for a month of PS Now, or use a free trial of PS Now instead. The reason Sony can charge full price is because they are making a high enough quality game that people are willing to pay for it....
If more than half the Konami staff left a secure job to join a new unproven studio (even if it is by an industry auteur) then it just serves to demonstrate how much admiration and loyalty Hideo Kojima has inspired in the people who have worked with him.
Former Sony man turned developer Shahid Kamal Ahmad says the Yosp move is a fantastic decision "Appointing @yosp to this new role is the most incredible move in developer engagement I’ve seen in years. Well done PlayStation and Yoshida-san."

Wow - this is major news. Congratulations to Hermen Hulst, he now has the major position that Shawn Layden had and I wonder if it is significant that Jim Ryan describes him as 'a European'.
I do hope Shuhei Yoshida's move to indie teams is not a demotion. For so long Yoshida has been one of the few faces of PlayStation giving interviews and talking about games and passionately pushing PSVR. The positive sign is that he will be reporting directly to Jim Ryan who...
Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot made a lot of positive statements during his company's earnings call.
* New consoles will give a boost to the market
* Ubisoft games will be close to their launch
* 5 titles coming between now and 2022; (Watch Dogs: Legion, Gods and Monsters, and Rainbow Six Quarantine, plus two unannounced AAA titles)
* Games will be on current-gen and next-gen versions will take 'full advantage'
* Download conten...
A remastered Mass Effect collection in 4k in time for next-gen would be a nice gifrt to the fans waiting for Mass Effect 4, and I believe it would sell very well.
@PhoenixUp 'The power of the cloud' means you won't have to wait seven for the next-generation, server specifications will be upgraded every 2 years!
She was being polite.
Same. What's adds to the confusion is the press coverage of both as The Outer Wilds is released this week!
@italiangamer I was just going to type the same thing! It is a beast and I hope it's portentous of the power inside.
Nintendo is doing its own thing, the Switch is not in the same category of games console that PlayStation and Xbox are. Sony and Microsoft are releasing new consoles next year because they have to keep pace with one another, Nintendo doesn't need to. There will be no Switch Pro in 2020.
If you’re playing multiplayer then it is annoying if people quit and potentially loses you the match. But 640 day bans are so beyond excessive. At times who, when playing multiplayer, hasn’t had to answer the door, or deal with a kid or a partner? This move could backfire, yes it will get rid of quitters but regular players too thus cultivating a loyal community that is small.
For persistent quitters I would have a system that tracks all players for quitting or being idle. ...
"PlayStation 5 is coming. Will it be the last one?" NO!
Now the start of the troll articles by the mainstream media that don't know what they're talking about. People asked the same question about the PS4 /XBO generation and yet they're still here.
Will cloud gaming offer more options to play console games? The answer is yes. But it certainly won't kill off traditional consoles in the space of a generation. VENOM says you can b...
To be honest, I think it's a bit of a shame that Phil Spencer doesn't believe there is a place for VR on Xbox Scarlett, in the short-term at least. VR is not a gimmick that is going to go away. The work is done, it will always be done. VR is inevitable. And if all the manufacturers got behind it I think it will help move it forward faster.
Regardless, Sony, Oculus, Valve are all exploring new frontiers and working on discovering new ways to find gameplay solutions i...
