Stories have a beginning, a middle and an end but the problem is if it can make a company money an IP will be squeezed beyond its natural life. For some types of character arc it’s best to let the franchise rest.
Or if the game is too valuable then tell it again but with new characters and a new world. This is something Rockstar do well with GTA.

Imagine the gaming power you could fit in the fridge. Okay, it's not really portable but the graphics it could output would be amazing.
It was delayed from February to May 2020 purely to spend more time on polishing it. The game is effectively 'finished' bar fine tuning. However this type of story is one that cavalier journalists love because they can make juicy accusations that the subject, Naughty Dog, can refute but the journalist can always claim that their insider is the one telling the truth.
I love E3 and have watched online for years. I live in the UK and travelled to California in 2013 just to attend E3 the year of the PS4 and Xbox One launch and it was truly fantastic to be there in such a massive year.
I will really miss the live conferences this year but risks must be minimised. I hope all the companies due to attend find an online method to showcase their goods. It won’t be the same but I think the companies can still drum up hype. My only concern is that...

Approaching its seven-year birthday and the game is still topping the charts - this is why Rockstar isn't in a rush to release the next iteration. I know its GTA Online that is bringing in the repeat audience, I just wished the firm made a piece of single player every year too.

Sometimes in gamer world you get these ideas that some push to suit a narrative. e.g. 'exclusives are immoral' -normally because their favourite console is lacking in them.
