There's a big spread of reviews. The highest I've seen is a 9, some 8s some 7s, some 6s. I haven't played Gotham Knights and I've no brand loyalty to it but is it really a 4 (indicating the game is fundamentally broken) or is Gamespot looking for clicks?

63.7 million Xboxs sold between November 2013 and December 2021.
This includes the Xbox One/One X family and the Xbox Series S/X family.

"A number of years" Is that non-specific vague on detail talk that has damaged Phil Spencer's credibility.

Originally the Xbox plan was Call of Duty would remain on other platforms and now Phil Spencer has finally revealed that if the Activision buy out goes through than PlayStation will have it for a limited period of time. If there's nothing to hide why not say the EXACT amount of time? Because it can then be examined and questioned.

FFS it's not cheap is it?! I like the idea of customising buttons so I can use different ones from games that hurt my index fingers but not sure if that's worth the price of a budget console. If you're competitive when playing online then this could be perfect if it gives you an EDGE! .... I'll get my coat.

Reading between the lines I believe leading voice actress Jennifer Hale received a better offer than $4000.

What with Starfield's release in 2023, then a year of DLC, then development of Elder Scrolls VI, Todd Howard won't be available to start work on Fallout 5 until the latter end of the decade for a release coming at the earliest in the 2030s (😲!). So if MS/Bethesda can put together a team to build a Fallout game that comes outs before then, then it obviously keeps the fans happy and won't detract from whatever innovative developments Howard has in mind for what may be his la...

I would think it makes sense to release the fantastic first three Uncharted games on PC. As they’re older games it might cost too much to give them a full remake but why not release the PS4 remasters?

PS3 had a slow start in the UK (relative to the other PlayStation consoles) so for PS5 to equal its journey to 2 million is indicative of the severe supply shortage.

33% of "Xbox Deathloop players haven't beaten the tutorial". And 13% of PS5 players haven't beaten the tutorial. Whilst we can crack a joke that it's because Xbox players find it too hard (downvote away!) Considering the tutorial is relatively short, it's most likely because many people aren't finding the intro compelling enough. Most of the PS5 players would've bought it new and so perhaps might have tried a bit longer with it, Xbox players who got it free w...

@lucian229 I'm looking forward to playing this at some point in the future. The issue about teleporting police and the silly quirks- didn't the mega patch fix all this?

Spot on. The furore about Avengers Spider-Man DLC compared to these same outlets celebrating the Activision purchase is at the very least, hypocritical.

We can extrapolate that the Last of Us live service multiplayer game if it’s free will launch day and date on PS5 and PC.

In a highly competitive market it’s difficult to launch a brand new live service game, this move can give them a better chance of establishing a player base.

@Orchard You expressed the view: “COD is still going to be on PS, it would be suicide for MS/Activision/COD to do otherwise.” Microsoft’s offer to have COD on PlayStation is not indefinite, it has said it would be for a maximum three years beyond the current promotional agreement.

@CaptainHenry916. So you have the head of Google Stadia expressing that Microsoft damages competition, and the head of PlayStation. Maybe they’re right, maybe they’re wrong. But instead of people discussing this automatically jumping to the defence of Microsoft like it’s their friend, the fact that there has been two major companies expressing this sentiment publicly by executives at the highest level means they feel they have good reason that bears investigating.

Google has the technology, but it didn’t have a product. It was a brand new console platform that launched with no big games to distinguish it and a handful of ports and later a subscription service. A non gamer audience might have been the end goal but realistically it was hardcore who were the initial audience who would see Game Pass offered better value and consistency.

@Yi-Long I too was hoping for a AC Black Flag follow up but yep, I'm not paying full price of £70 or even £20. Black Flag was a full pirate adventure and somehow Ubisoft got confused about that and created a PvP combat game.
