When at least two of the leading voices in the established games media hold a markedly different view then you about the quality of games and the successes of the different platforms what does that tell you?

Screenrant and Edge Magazine found Pentiment to be superior to God of War Ragnarok.
This is a 'hands off' review where the reporter has not actually used the product in question but is criticising performance based on the curated views of others.

I did preorder one... but I cancelled it because it's a lot of money for a person who is not an expert FPS gamer and because I thought the money would go to better use on PS VR2.
The Switch has a big enough userbase so that if/when Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is highly reviewed and a massive seller then it will generate so much profit for Nintendo.
Good Guy Phil. If it was SackJimRyan he would make the ads intrusive. But Good Guy Phil cares about the consumer so will make them un-intrusive. Another win for Xbox.
The point is you don't have to buy it, like all special editions it's an optional extra for those who love the franchise.

Are you sure this isn't a PSVR2 launch title? DLC could include key characters from the PlayStation franchises. For the men; Aloy from Horizon, Nariko from Heavenly Sword, and likely would be the most popular Tifa Lockhart. For the women Kratos, Nathan Drake and AstroBot. For the Kotaku/ResetEra/Polygon readers Abby from the Last of Us Part II.

This needs a massive budget to do it justice. And much as the father son dynamic is great the Greek setting and pantheon is richer and more exciting to me.
Mine was apparently GTA: Online - but my stats are lying! I actually played GTA V PS5 the most but Rockstar is cleverly logging single player hours as part of the multiplayer!

You're remembering things wrong. Sony had nothing to do with the decline of Atari and Commodore. In the UK & Europe their decline was caused by two factors, gamers moving to Sega Megadrive ...

Call of Duty is the third party highlight of the PlayStation & Xbox calendar. By giving it away 'free' with Game Pass it diminishes the value of paying for it on PlayStation. Microsoft now offering to bring it to a format that doesn't need it and is not part of its ecosystem is interesting because it promotes the idea of choice.

I can see why Microsoft made the decision it did. The proprietary Xbox memory card makes sense for Xbox Series S users who have low storage, are unlikely to be enthusiasts, possibly younger user base, and will want an easy upgrade that simply slots in. I recall MS saying that the price would come down as more manufacturers make cards but so far there is only one choice.
