Holy crap. I almost think Microsoft wants to kill off Game Pass. It’s done with its subscribers who lose it money by playing its double-A games for free. It knows other console platform owners will spend money on games, but Xbox games have suffered a collapse in sales. What with this and the recent Xbox Series S & X price increases these are absolutely a deliberate tactical move. If Microsoft can migrate all Xbox Series owners to PlayStation or Nintendo then it can stop losing money on ha...

Can you believe the suits at Take Two told Dan Houser, the man whose GTA stories literally built the company, ‘we don’t think your story is right for the game’?!
How much more evidence is needed for the extremists like Colt Eastwood, Jez Corden and Destin Legarie, to understand what this, sadly, means?
Perhaps Konami should get the patches out to fix its brand new game first.
Nintendo could have made 2D versions of these games that could be used without accessories and give the games a better chance of living on beyond this platform.
@badz149 These are improved from the original Wii versions. When The Last Of Us 2 had a PS5 release at full price many people were angry, but the game was brand new to the platform and so for many people who had never played it before they were the target customer and they bought it, as I did. Similarly, THIS collection of two is new to the Switch platform and new to them, and new to me.
I understand some people might wish Nintendo were selling these games for $10 each but ...
@darthv72 Has anything been announced or leaked about Meta Quest games coming to Switch?
Whilst these are old games for some people, for others like me who haven't played them they are two high quality games that likely play better than many new releases.
It's a clever product that likely will sell brilliantly and get a sales boost when the new Mario Galaxy movie is released. Game companies are wising up to the benefits of cross media promotions as Sony did with the Last of Us HBO series and Bethesda with Fallout TV series. It looks like Nintendo made ...

My God, for the people who do not understand how irony is used to highlight a point: the Saudi government's PIF that it has used to invest in video game companies has also been used to invest in boxing and buy Ring boxing magazine. It is all part of scheme to move away from oil based industries and for Saudi to focus on cultural dominance, sport and gaming.
If you don’t like the increasing control the Saudis have of gaming including Nintendo, SNK, Evo, Scopely and shares in many more companies including Take Two than FIND ANOTHER HOBBY.
-That’s why I’m glad I still have boxing and am able to read a copy of Ring magazine. And you know what, not once is there a mention of the Saudi government and what they’re up to - and I’m glad that’s kept out of boxing… Although now, since the Saudis took control of boxing, at the start of mo...
In the interview Hermen Hulst reveals that Sony now has many more oversight checks 'in very many different ways.' I really hope that it has added 'cultural' checks to see how a game, its world and its characters will resonate with the audience Sony will be trying to sell the game to. This is because a big part of the criticism of Concord by gamers was the unattractive characters (not necessarily in appearance, although that too) and the perception that the developers prioritis...
Decima is the propriety (self-made and unique) game engine of Guerilla Games that is owned by Sony that is optimised for their consoles. Kojima has NO control of it. When Sony was trying to woo him to make an exclusive PS4 title that became Death Stranding they allowed him to licence the engine - which the contract clearly meant it could be used for other versions of the game including PC and Xbox. So far, there is nothing to suggest that Sony wants to allow any other company to use it.
Those in the Xbox community who whined about the release delay need to put their money where their mouth is - otherwise this will happen more often until eventually some publishers will skip the Xbox platform altogether.
He’s changing his tune. When Microsoft bought the Gears of War franchise from Epic Games Cliff Blezinski gloatingly wrote: ‘I suppose this puts the nail in the coffin of the question “Will Gears ever come to PlayStation?”’
Maybe he’s in line for all the royalties that will come from the PS5 remaster.
Such a clever marketing move! It might tempt Xbox players who love Halo into trying Helldivers out. But the PR artistry is that it lays the groundwork for PlayStation gamers to get exposure to Halo for an eventual reveal of the full Halo: Combat Evolved game - possibly at the Game Awards. 😚👌🏼
Jade Raymond didn't leave her own studio because Sony thought this game would be brilliant.
@Rancegamerx said: “Did you even read what he wrote? It was thought out and intelligent.”
- Well why’s he’s posting it on N4G?
Gamers, hey! Every now and then there’s always someone that has to fit the stereotype.
