AI is inevitable, you can stop the future and you certainly didn’t complain about th AI in the hundreds of games that have used AI in one form or another included racing games with AI racers or FPS games with AI opponents or games like ARC Raiders that have generative voice lines or FIFA Football for NPC tacti...

This sounds like a good move to me; CD PROJEKT Red make the game engine once and craft the world and the full story, then for each of the next two chapters they spend two years on making the adventure. I wish Bethesda had done this with Skyrim so we had new adventures.
Remember, GTA III was released in 2001 with its sequel GTA: Vice City just one year later in 2002. And GTA: San Andreas in 2004. Same engine but tweaked for all the games and they are all time classics.

This Steam Machine when it’s released will demonstrate what a modern PC can be, compact, fast start, quick resume, software profiles (probably) so there’s no having to fiddle with settings and Steam OS for productivity work. If Microsoft can offer the same but with a much higher spec, Xbox back compat, and dual operating systems then it could be a very exciting (premium) alternative. I do think MS will tease something sooner rather than later.
I'm hoping this pushes Microsoft to reveal, or at least tease, its Xbox PC at the Game Awards.

I can't remember his exact words but it's something like: "A delayed game will forever be bad to your customers, but if you rush the game out and fix it as you go along, it will eventually be good."
Whilst the Japanese government might not interfere, US developers and their progressive staff will. Just look at what Sony studios have done across multiple recent games.
