It's looking very, tasty. Now just over a week to find out for myself how it plays!
Wow they look amazing, such smooth motion! It makes my mouth water to think what a top spec PC can pump this out at. Then wait for the hyper-real mods to start coming out!
That's amazing. It's great when gamers make a small gesture that can hopefully make a difference.

I'd love to know where I could sneak an early copy!
EDGE can be a bit over-critical so from them 8 is a good score! The reviewer mentions there is grinding in the game but overall is definitely very impressed.
Who is the unnamed publisher?
Why is their identity being kept secret?
Were they a partner at the time the Kickstarter was launched?
I love Fallout, I love Oblivion so THIS is exciting news because it probably means the reveal of a new RPG for one of these franchises.
The fact that they are holding their own conference (rather than being a reveal on a console manufacturer's E3 stage) makes it more likely that it will be multi-format so PC, PS4 & XBO fans can play it and nobody misses out.
It's only February but I'm already looking forward to E3!
Sometimes exclusive deals really benefit a developer and publisher because it allows a game that wouldn't have any hype, the opportunity to shine through heavy promotion. However in some cases an exclusive agreement can actually be a bad decision.
Microsoft paid EA a certain amount of monetary compensation to keep the game of PS4 and PS3. But what was not expected by anyone was that the PS4 would have been such a big success. This meant that whatever Microsoft paid EA was...
That Mario Galaxy in 1080p 60fps looks absolutely amazing. Some people like to say 'resolution doesn't matter' but it really makes the game looks so vivid and immersive and the smooth motion is gorgeous.
The release of Super Mario Galaxy 2 as a VC title makes me think Nintendo are unlikely to later produce a HD version however the Zelda Wind Waker game received an upgrade so it demonstrates Nintendo will do it if it fills a space in their Wii U lineup.

Looking at the UK market, first-party games for Nintendo consoles and the Wii U hold their value over a longer period of time than games from other publishers. A lot of triple-A titles released before Christmas you can buy online with good discounts, but Mario Kart 8 and Super Mario 3D World are still close to full price.
It really is as simple as that!
If you want to expand on it slightly, buy the console that has the most games you want.
I'd love it if the talkie version of Indiana Jones & the Fate of Atlantis was released. In fact I would have loved it if the story was used for the fourth Indiana Jones movie instead of that tale involving aliens.
“Unfortunately, that creates a culture where everyone is an advisor and no one is a decision maker – but almost everyone has veto power." “Ideas often get shut down prematurely just because some people with the power to veto an idea simply don’t understand it."
This is disappointing to hear and in a big expose of Microsoft during the Steve Balmer years, this was the reason they were criticised for not inventing the smartphone before Apple.

@Masterowiiu3ds. Firstly You've got to remember that the PS4 user base is really strong in the UK. So it's like when Knack outsold Super Mario 3D World some journos cried into their articles about what a travesty it was. It wasn't a travesty, it was simply a case that because the PS4 userbase is so strong its games will sell best.
Also, Drive Club launched with well-publicised network problems that stopped the PS Plus version being given away in 2014. However the ...
I think all the evidence is stacking up and these Nintendo Directs will likely be the official reveal of the New 3DS for the West.
I imagine the New 3DS XL price will be in the same ball-park as the Wii U which would be crazy.
I appreciate the comments thorstein. I hate it when you have to jump through hoops and click a million times just to read an article so it's really nice that you noticed. Thanks!
Hi Thanhgee, you make a legitimate point! But as it explicitly says at the top the list includes console exclusives and family exclusives. The same as how in 2014 Titanfall was often named as an XBO exclusive whilst also being available on 360 and PC.
For me, nothing beats an evening of local multiplayer with friends. Joking, taunting, having fun. I got to play Mario Kart 8 recently and it really is a stand out game.
All those games are must-buys for me, although I don't think we'll see Street Fighter V until next year.
The first half of the year is normally pretty dry when it comes to game releases so PS4 getting The Order:1886 and Bloodborne a month later is a pretty amazing start.
