Microsoft would love every gamer to be part of the Xbox Live ecosystem - not because they are altruistic but because they are a business who would like a monopoly in this field. There is nothing wrong with that, however other companies don't want their customers to be Xbox customers as they are trying to further their own interests.
There are no 'good guys' or 'bad guys,' just different companies who each want market dominance.
'Subscribers Should Be Furious Over The Increase'
Now that is a headline deliberately written to incite gamers by TELLING them what to feel! Nobody wants to pay more for stuff but it's called inflation. Also, running a network that serves millions has a cost. If it's too expensive for you then don't pay, but I think a couple of good games makes it worthwhile and you get a lot more than two games per year.
It's good. Looks similar to Robbie Rotten from children's programme LazyTown.

I read a news story that the poor actor who plays him Stefán Karl Stefánsson is terminally ill.
I believe that we will get PSN name changes when Sony actually announces it!
I'm happy with mine because I chose wisely - between the USA and UK release of PS3 I had 5 months to think about it. But I know plenty who would love to change their PSN ID. I think it will happen, an old Sony user questionnaire asked people about it. Shuhei Yoshida will certainly have reported back about it, but there are technical issues with implementing this so I don't want to bet on w...
The article doesn't provide a source but it speculates that their could be an internal memory storage increase before Christmas 2018.
I hope it isn't dead.
I love the original trilogy and. The problem with ME: Andromeda is this game was likely a well-intentioned cash grab. What makes me say this? It is because the story does not continue after the events of ME3 - it effectively happened during the earlier events of the trilogy meaning that its story has no consequence on what happened to Shepard. Well why wouldn't Bioware continue the story? Because it was made by their B-team made up substantially of free...
I will never give up on Salma Hayek.
I like the idea of these and how the consoles and joypads & joystick bring back all the nostalgia feels. But not sure how much time I would actually spend playing them - especially the Atari games which I think would have novelty value but are now so old might not be able to hold my attention.
Oh - I love that Golden Axe is there but it's criminal that the Sega Megadrive/Genesis doesn't have Streets of Rage!
Don't say 'Ninty'! N4G is not a British Nintendo magazine from the early 90s! ;)
I wouldn't be surprised if all the work Lionhead put into Fable Legends is re-purposed into Fable IV with a reveal at E3!
LOL! Funny comment!
NeoGaf over the past two weeks has been especially toxic.
Colin Moriarty.
JonTron.
No Man's Sky & Mass Effect Andromeda.
Trump vs Clinton.
People don't just have a difference of opinion they have enemies.
Anybody with a different opinion is the enemy.
Everyone taking the moral high ground and using labels on anyone else who doesn't think the same. Everyone shouting down everybody else.
What happene...
Ha, ha ha! That made me laugh! Nothing more to be said.
Exactly! Although I think it's silly to blame Sony fans for being negative - it could be Nintendo, Sony AND Xbox fans being negative!
Zelda: BOTW, judging from the previews, is the real deal - a massive feature complete game. The expansion pass is for people who enjoy the game and want to play more in its world. $20 doesn't sound too expensive although the first DLC pack would be meatier if it had a story in it. Considering many triple-A games now have DLC this ou...
Sony is always working and developing new products. I remember in an interview where Shuhei Yoshida was asked if PSVR would ever get anything like the HTC VIVE tracking and he said, and I paraphrase, possibly!
This product might be for PSVR or more likely the next-gen of PSVR that will be released sometime in the PS5 generation - I'm looking forward to it already!
Everyone is talking about how Sony has come out of the 2017 gate swinging with exclusives. If Phil Spencer also wants to promote Xbox as having exclusives he shouldn't talk PR spin - he should wait until he has games to reveal.
A new console debuted at E3 is exciting! I'm hoping there will be Scorpio exclusive games that take advantage of the power. It would also be nice to see Microsoft show games.
If PlayTonic have hired the best people from Rare, what calibre of staff are left working on Sea of Thieves?
This hype generating technique reminds me of the 3rd January 2013 when Microsoft's 'Major Nelson' posted a countdown timer to E3 hinting at the, then, unannounced XBO. It created some excitement as everybody wanted to know more... Then Sony released that video with blue electricity crackling around a new product - the video was for the PlayStation Event in New York and NeoGaf and everyone lost their minds over it. The year did not turn out how Microsoft were hoping it would.
Two 10s in just over six months? That's a pretty excellent start for the Nintendo Switch!
