NeoGaf over the past two weeks has been especially toxic.

People don't just have a difference of opinion they have enemies.
Anybody with a different opinion is the enemy.
Everyone taking the moral high ground and using labels on anyone else who doesn't think the same. Everyone shouting down everybody else.
What happene...
Ha, ha ha! That made me laugh! Nothing more to be said.
Exactly! Although I think it's silly to blame Sony fans for being negative - it could be Nintendo, Sony AND Xbox fans being negative!
Zelda: BOTW, judging from the previews, is the real deal - a massive feature complete game. The expansion pass is for people who enjoy the game and want to play more in its world. $20 doesn't sound too expensive although the first DLC pack would be meatier if it had a story in it. Considering many triple-A games now have DLC this ou...
Sony is always working and developing new products. I remember in an interview where Shuhei Yoshida was asked if PSVR would ever get anything like the HTC VIVE tracking and he said, and I paraphrase, possibly!
This product might be for PSVR or more likely the next-gen of PSVR that will be released sometime in the PS5 generation - I'm looking forward to it already!
Everyone is talking about how Sony has come out of the 2017 gate swinging with exclusives. If Phil Spencer also wants to promote Xbox as having exclusives he shouldn't talk PR spin - he should wait until he has games to reveal.
A new console debuted at E3 is exciting! I'm hoping there will be Scorpio exclusive games that take advantage of the power. It would also be nice to see Microsoft show games.
If PlayTonic have hired the best people from Rare, what calibre of staff are left working on Sea of Thieves?
This hype generating technique reminds me of the 3rd January 2013 when Microsoft's 'Major Nelson' posted a countdown timer to E3 hinting at the, then, unannounced XBO. It created some excitement as everybody wanted to know more... Then Sony released that video with blue electricity crackling around a new product - the video was for the PlayStation Event in New York and NeoGaf and everyone lost their minds over it. The year did not turn out how Microsoft were hoping it would.
This article is a generation late. The PS3/360 generation saw the major third party exclusives go all format so to remark on it now makes it seem like they are new to the industry. However it must be noted that because of Sony's significant sales lead and partnerships with Japanese developers they do have a considerable amount of 3rd party titles still to come.
EA not releasing Titanfall 1 on PS4 made a big mistake. It stopped the PlayStation community jumping on board with the franchise so their was no emotional connection to it. It also devalued the franchise before it had a chance to establish itself.
PSVR is the first virtual reality headset to support Xbox One (albeit in Cinematic mode). What next, dogs and cats living together?
I'd love to see the difference between the PS4 version and the PS4 Pro 1080p version.
I suspect that most early adopters will be like me, playing on a 1080p screen.
Assassin's Creed DOES need a reboot - and I consider myself a big fan.
No one developer should be above criticism but we should judge them by their record. Peter Molyneux, auteur that he is, earned himself a reputation for over-promising and under-delivering. Fable III failed to meet the promises made about it and Godus has yet to be completed! Metal Gear Solid the Phantom Pain received a high meta-critic and many gamers are happy with it. Death Stranding has a lot of hype because it is as Kojima game, but Kojima generates hype because the public are happy with ...
It's sad for Sony that's he leaving as Adam Boyes has been so enthusiastic in his PlayStation role, but i'm happy he's doing this to follow his dream. What Boyes' and former Sony indie procurer Shahid Kamal Ahmad departures show is that they really are in the business because they love gaming. Sony have made some great hiring decisions and this means great people who are able to secure quality exclusives for the PlayStation platform. Good luck to Boyes and I look forward t...
Aaron Greenberg says that PC players will be able to use Xbox Live for free and play online against other Windows 10 and Xbox One owners. But it raises the question, if you have a gaming PC why buy an Xbox One when it costs you more for the same privileges?
For me this is a good month! I've been looking forward to Furi and have wanted to buy Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines for Vita which I intend to play on my PSTV. The Saints Row game won't hurt either. Sony, that's a positive step in the right direction.
Gamestop UK (an online only retailer) were offering the Xbox One S 500GB for pre-order but it is no longer available.
Judging by the tech-specs it sounds like the Scorpio will be a beast! But it's not possible for 4K 60fps power to come at a mass market price, even in Autumn 2017. So I'm thinking that the Xbox Scorpio will effectively be a gaming PC with an Xbox UI. IF it isn't available for less than $500 then I can't help but think this is Microsoft's way of making a soft-exit out of the hardware game without losing face.
LOL! Funny comment!
