IGN just did a really good podcast about GTA, and talked about what the DLC might be. Its pure speculation but one of the guys brought up a really intriguing possibility. He suggested Rockstar focus their efforts on creating the next GTA for what console generation comes out next, and any future current console efforts be based off of the GTA4 game. IE, instead of future DLC just being new gametypes, why not create completely new cities, and distribute them similar to the same way Tomb Raider...

Wow, based on this preview Tomb Raider may just be the sleeper hit of 2008. Id love to see some video. Loved 1-3, Legend and Anniversary. Cant wait to see a true current gen version.

I want a Zelda with more NPCs, more side quests, and more of the awesome main quest offered in Twilight Princess. Also, throw in an orchestral score and perhaps some actual voice acting. Im not sure how much I would actually like voice acting though. lots of Jap to eng dubs suck.

Its all a matter of tastes. I dont think Sony is a bad console at all, but I just dont like the big Sony games. Im not a fan of japanese game styles, so exclusives like MGS and FF dont appeal to me at all. The only reason I would get a PS3 would be to play games like HS or Uncharted, but at this point the only reason I would get one is for a game that I know is going rock that system, like Halo did for the 360. Ill hold out for Resistance 2 or KZ2.
Ive got a newer model and the noise is negligable. Ive owned one older model that was very noisy, but it seems the newer ones dont have that issue so much. Its gunna be a while before we know for sure whether the issue has been solved, at least a year i would think.
Its funny, IGNs Xbox team is more optimistic about Home then its PS3 team. I dont think Home is going to be the PS3 savior you all think it is. Its been over a year since it was announced and it still wont release until next year at the earliest.
