Wow. Youre in a minority then, most people thought Anniversary was better.
So shooting hispanic zombies is alright, but shooting black zombies isnt?
Hmm.
Granted, RE5 looks very realistic, where RE4 was obviously more fantastical, but still.
Dude, I love Live and I agree with this article completely. I dont think it was a smear article, or, at least, i dont think that was its intention.
I think, instead of having gamer zome on LIve, there should be Age zones. K-8, 9-12, and everyone else. I know it wouldnt fix it completely, but it would help.
Why do you say that? If 360 comes out with some good "waggle" games, instead of pulling out their Wii when people come over (snicker) people will just fire up their Xbox. If Xbox games are shinier then Wii games it may convince casual people to buy them.
Already casual gamers are being turned on by the Wii, but, aside from Wii Sports, I just dont see any other games that the masses have latched onto.
Whether its Sony, Wii, or Xbox, the big seller right ...
Did I hear correctly, that Rare is working on this remote?
If thats true Ill bet they are working on a Viva Pinata Party Animal game to go with it.
Hmm, i dont really see how PS3 has the same appeal as the Wii. PS3 has huge install base with most people owning a PS2 most likely going to buy a PS3 over an Xbox, and thats where its future lies.
Xbox is still the newcomer and is only on its second console, battling it out with 2 other consoles that have been around for over ten years.
If Xbox comes out with this Xmote and continues to release the quality games it has since its launch, I see a lot more PC gamers...
This is true. It will be interesting to see what Sony or Nintendo do in response.
2009 may end up belonging to the 360. If next year sees both a solid pack of both hardcore games as well as a new rush of casual games, we may see the tide turning towards the Xbox again.
My guess is MS will try to push a new image for the 360 at Christmas time and try to be the console king for Christmas. The Xbox has the potential to do so much more then the Wii could with a waggle controller, and I personally would love to see new solid party games.
Three re...
Ive got three words why an Xmote will be awesome on the 360.
Resident Evil 5.
Take your crap to the open zone. No wonder you only have 4 bubbles.
Ive said it once before, if you arent convinced this is a Sony fanboy site, just watch how many any-pro Xbox comments get disagrees, even if they are completely even-handed. Anything less then gushing Sony love gets buried under disagrees. Im not saying the moderators, or anything like that, Im talking about those who frequent the site, and regularily post comments. The majority are Sony fans.
PS even with the introduction of Open and Gamerzone, the Gamerzone still gets buried ...
Dude, please, this is totally a pro-PS3 site. Just watch how many disagrees I get for saying this: Xbox Rules!!!!
I highly doubt MS would give up on its heavy hitters (Halo, GOW). Having a peripheral like this would focus the games coming out on 360 into two groups: hardcore and casual.
So far there has been no reason to play casual games on the 360, and frankly Id be glad to play Nintendo style games on a system with a VASTLY superior online setup.
This doesnt bode too well for Nintendo if Sony and MS starts tapping into that market.
I forgot about Viva Pinata. Is that an Xbox exclusive?
Im as skeptical as the next person, but Im not so sure... The Wii got popular because it was smart and set up all those booths in the malls to let people get a chance to play WiiSports. If Microsoft comes up with a better game, people may pay attention.
Im very intrigued by the analogue stick on the "X"mote. I think Wii Sports would have been funner if you could actually control your character. The little analogue stick may be the missing ingredient to a better motion...
Ive never understood the hate for the Dpad. Whats the deal? Ive got no problems with it...
This is kind of silly.
Microsoft pays for advertising, that simple. Perhaps there was some clause that they couldnt advertise the exclusive content, I dunno, but I think game stores also win because if they do sell more Xbox 360s they make more money in the long run cause MS generally has higher software sales.
Im at work and cant see them. Can someone send them to me?
