I agree. We are in a minority of people who just cant understand the appeal of a 12 hour game with only 3 hours of actual gameplay...
I cant understand why people constantly say "the last great game was chaos theory". You do know that there has only been one game since then right? You make it sound like there was 5 games after Chaos Theory...

Ubisoft has said before that the lights on his back are for the players benefit. Kinda tough walking around in the dark if you cant see your character.
Some of the things they have added have potential to be huge. I wonder if they are planning a "relaunch" add campaign, to get the word out. If only 360 owners know about it, it kinda defeats the purpose.

I just got a PS3 a couple of months ago and so far my must have game for it has be Resistance. Coop is a lot of fun, its got a lot of great ideas, and although Im not completely crazy about the way they chose to tell the story, the story itself is very interesting.
Resistance 2 is high on my list of must have games this year. Im gunna be so broke come fall.
As someone who owns both, its good to have more variety of things to watch....but sorry Sony only owners. Live marketplace is still the clear winner.

I own both consoles and I am completely convinced that every PS owner who bashes the Xbox marketplace and the upcoming inclusion of Netflix just simply has no idea what they are missing.
Ill never understand why peope can be so pathetic as to join a topic that has nothing to do with Sony. MS had a great conference, but I dont think Sony really impressed until the hands on demoes.

My impressions: wasnt sure but i started to get into it and depending on the length this may be a purchase for me. The graphics are subpar, but the areas are vast, the art style is good (very haloesque i think), and the music and dialogue are top notch. Ive never been a huge graphics whore (although i do like it when its shiny) and i think Too Human is a good example of a game that does everythng else well. Im guessing a solid 8 average.
How so? If you dont own an Xbox I can understand your skeptism, but as an Xbox owner the new updates coming for th dashboard are pretty phenomenal. We are still getting some great games but we are also getting some amazing additions to the system.
Thats why Im excited. Im with some other guy on here who said he has PS3 for its exclusives, but the Xbox is still my console of choice.

Resistance 2 and GOW3 are the ones im looking at. The jury is out on MAG until i see a vid for it. Massive battles do not excite me though. Having 16 people in a room is often times good enough for me.

Answer to Netflix? Hardly. PSN has a leg up with being able to purchase and DL to the PSP, but Xbox has had movie rentals and tv shows for ages now. For people who enjoy handhelds this is cool info, but basing this soley on the PS3 and Xbox: advantage Xbox.

I have a bit more affection for my 360 and it sounds like you have the same for your PS3. I agree with a lot of your comments and disagree with others.
Without going into details Ill sum up what I agree on with this: RROD has tainted the Xbox name and cast a shadow on it that I think people focus on more then they should. The reason I say that is because last year when Xbox was putting out all of its stellar games, no one cared.

And thats of course a legitimate concern. The newer models are very dependable and the upcoming model is even more so. If or when you do get one I guarentee youll love it and have plenty of games to catch up on. Thats why I got my PS3, cause its getting some good games that I didnt want to miss out on. But for a long time I convinced myself that I didnt want one cause the "online sucks" or "its too expensive" or "it doesnt have good games", etc.
