This is a couple months old so perhaps things have changed, but seriously dude? Its not that big a deal. If things have changed it cant be by much. I know there are more recent stats, but I could care less. Its no secret that XBox's main problem was the RROD. It would be interesting to see where it would stand if it hadnt been for that.
As it is, Xbox still has great software sales (better then Wii or PS3 last time I checked), great games and a great online setup.
Hopefully they will find a way to revive public interest in it. Perhaps the upcoming rumored wave of casual games will do it.
At the end of the day I like my Xbox and it has many great games...
At this point I think Halo 3 and COD4 have layed down some fantastic groundwork for how online multiplayer should be done. Hopefully all the great shooters coming out this year take notice.
Keeping the action flowing, making it easy to get into games = a good multiplayer setup.
Now why oh why didnt Ubisoft consider this when they made RSV2?
Im glad Xbox seems to be expanding their library this year beyond just shooters. We still get GOW and Left 4 Dead (am I forgetting anything?) but looks like there are a lot of other great games in different genres. I might be getting Ninja Gaiden 2, but Im really starting to look forward to Too Human, and Im hoping Banjo will usher in an openness to more lighthearted casual fun.
PS3 fanboys, no one has made me want to buy something less in my life then you. You guys are terrible at marketing.

The PS3 is not slaughtering the 360. Its is definately outselling it in the console arena, but it makes sense witht the PS finally coming out with good games. But Xbox is still winning in the software sales, and PS3 is not leading by that much, leading mainly in Europe. Are you in Europe? Im not so I could care less. I live in America.

OK, lets look at the facts here.
Fact: Xbox has better games.
Fact: Xbox has better online.
Fact: With half of the global population owning a PS2, the PS3 should be in the same place as the Wii. It is not. And while the Wii is selling consoles, Xbox is selling GAMES. I have no doubt that this year will pick up for PS3, but that doesnt mean 360 will die out. It will continue to sell consoles and games, and continue to build on an already solid base....

Look fellas, your precious machine plays pretty games. Great. But your online model sucks (and home wont be the savior you think it is), Bluray has already been noted as not being a very good format, and your game library is weak. Even with this years lineup, Xbox still has some really good games coming out, ON TOP of its already stellar...

I own an Xbox. I like my Xbox. This is no secret. I think the problem with Sony fanboys is that you expect every single exclusive for the PS3 to be the second coming or something.
Im sure this game is going to be good. It looks great. But dont put all your eggs in one basket. Its silly to assume any one game will be the answer to all your gaming wishes, cause if it doesnt work out then youre standing their looking foolish.

I love the environments, but yeah, when Molyneux was talking about the combat system I was not impressed. And the combat looked underwhelming in this. Granted he was wielding an axe, but this has the same issue for me as Too Human. I dont like the way it looks when you swing youre weapon. Ill hold off complete judgment until the game comes out though.
