Respectfully I disagree. While I cant remark on FF series, I have played Half-life and 1 of the MGS games. While i think the Half life series definately is a HUGE step in the right direction, if the MGS series was translated to the big screen it would come off as hokey and overly melodramatic.

If this is true it would be phenomenal... but I cant see this happening. With Xbox movie downloads and IPTV in the works I dont see how this would be a moneymaker for MS, thusly I dont see how they would allow it.

True. I dont think Vegas had a bad setup at the time it came out, but matchmaking setup of Halo and COD are unavoidable and if they want to be in the top ten they need to have a online setup that either brings something new and cool to the table or at least learn where others have succeeded.
Sounds good to me. COD4 borrowed from R6V, and now R6V2 is borrowing from COD4. The graphics still seem a bit unimpressive, but I was unimpressed with COD4 graphics until I played it. Even if its not as graphically impressive as COD it gets major points for its awesome cover system.

I love the SC series. Cant wait for this. With Montreal on board Im looking forward to this. Chaos Theory was one of my fav games on Xbox. My only hope is that they bring the multplayer mode back to the style set in Chaos Theory. I didnt care much for Double Agent, and even less for the multiplayer.
Ive touched Halo like twice since COD4 came out. I dont think Halo is a bad game, but Im burnt out from Halo 2.

Its definately not as deep as some other hack and slashers, but its loads of fun, and ya know what? after playing other games where it can get a little too hard to pull of combos its fun to be able to play as a bad a$$ who can stop a huge demons sword without breaking a sweat.

Yeah the demo was shockingly bad. Maybe it would have been good 6 years ago, but now its almost embarassing for the developers. This is why games need more development time and companies need not to spread themselves so thin with mulptiple projects.

So you start off as a kid, grow up, get married, plant trees, have adventures, and now a 12 hour game, plus, what, 5 hours more of side quests potentially? I mean do i really want to frikkin play house and crap like that? So instead of this game being Oblivion meets Zelda, we get Zelda meets the Sims?
