How about 342 MILLION Playstation Home consoles sold in it's now 4th home console generation? Is that dominating enough for you @Truefan1?
By contrast, Xbox has 120M in it's now 3rd home console generation
and
Nintendo has 290M in it's now 6th home console generation
Pure Definition of the word Domination!!!
How quick gamers forget…EA tried (and discontinued) this type of thing before, not 5 years ago… http://www.easports.com/sea... …Go check it out and see if it doesn't look similar
We don't know how good the EA Access service is going to be…I think it will come down to 5 key questions on the games in the EA Vault
1)How new are the games in the Vault
2)How relevant are the games in the Vault (Sports games & FPS become irrelevant as soon as their successors release)
3)How often do they update the Vault
4)How many games do they add per update
AND 5) MOST IMPORTANT - Do games always...
Well hell, its Gamestop people…What did you expect? FAIR PRICING? They wanna take your money when you buy, they wanna take your money when you sell…They'll soon start charging a "browsing" fee:
GameStop Employee: "Can I help you find something?"
You: "No, just looking"
GE: "Okay, that'll be $5…Cash or credit card? -- Cash? You know we have this new credit card…We're taking pre-orders on it, only $5!!!"
@Naga I share that sentiment…I didn't pre-order, nor plan on purchasing this game…As soon as i got a beta code from a friend, I couldn't put the game down…For the first time in a while I sat still and played a game for 2-3 hours straight on several different occasions this week…And thought about playing at work, which hasn't happened to me since TLOU and Skyrim before it.
I guess only a handful of gamestop customers know how to read... I mean "TRADE IN YOUR GAMES FOR [fill in the percent]" is plastered all over every entrance to every gamestop I've ever been in
HBO Go for PS4 was announced on March 4th:

No surprise!!! The Playstation Brand, having sold over 342 Million home consoles, is the most trusted, sought after home console brands in history.
@NewMonday "few people know that most XBox revenue comes from mobile patents not gaming." & @Shaenoide "don't forget the android royalties." BOOM -- source: http://www.businessinsider....
@EonJay The reason why they shipped more consoles last quarter than this past quarter was the fact that Microsoft themselves said they would be drawing down production, remember?
Thats what happens when a manufacturer ships a lot but retailers can't sell at the same pace.
@Tbone567 Good thing your guarantee means nothing. And while Microsoft as a corporation is always doing good, its quite clear that with over 342 Million home consoles sold(PS1,PS2,PS3,PS4), the Playstation Brand is the most trusted, sought after home gaming console in history!!!
GOW? Yes please, more please
@KNWS "You mention DLC in the list too for 2014" I know Xbox fans are talking with as many times as i hear Killer Instinct Season 2 as if it's a new game. Infamous First Light can be played stand-alone (without Second Son). Wake me up when Killer Instinct is a complete fighting game, you know with ALL the playable characters.
@badboyz09 for the 2014 upcoming PS4 games you forgot Natural Doctrine and Guilty Gear Xrd
To all those people that said "Sony's trying to push WatchDogs/Destiny as exclusive", do they now have any comments about how Microsoft is outright claiming CoD:AW, AC:Unity and Evolve are "exclusive"?
To all those people that said "Sony's trying to push WatchDogs/Destiny as exclusive", do they now have any comments about how Microsoft is claiming CoD:AW and AC:Unity "live on Xbox One"?
@Lawson72
Wow, are you really conflating 2 different discounts…
1) How does a Gamestop deal prove Sony's desperation?
2) Microsoft themselves are the ones offering $100 deal if you trade in PS3 or Xbox 360 toward an Xbox One purchase &&& Microsoft themselves are the ones offering $75 gift cards to 360 owners who buy an Xbox One.
3) To my knowledge Sony has offered NO discounts on it's PS4 console. Every...
This seems like a pretty good deal. I already traded my PS3 copy in…Well, can't wait till I get my hands on the PS4 version
Yeah this would kinda suck…I'm more of a PS4 fan but i have to admit, Quantum Break was looking sick. And the game still intrigues me but the full experience may be in turmoil.
I just want to put my last post in some context…At 342M Playstation home consoles compared to 120M Xbox home consoles, Xbox could outsell Playstation by 20Million units and it would still take 11 Generations to catch up
