@annoyedgamer Your right about Ori, but the problem is that those creative new IP's are made by Microsoft so infrequently. I mean there are very few games I know that Microsoft develops that isn't a shooter of some sort, or a racer. I mean Fable, Ori, and Project Spark are the only Microsoft developed games that don't scream shooter or racer. Oh and we can include CrackDown in that because it's a 50/50 RPG-Shooter. But where are the platformers, Action/adventure, sports-si...
@Boodborn Does the weekly cap reset for everybody at the same time, or is it based on when I personally hit my cap?
This just goes to show…The less powerful the tech, the more compromises need to be made
@theXtReMe1
I get you on that…But for $1000 I'm sure the guy will be willing to work on a Jordan of your choice in the color way of your choice. I mean Jordans come in almost every color way imaginable.
You, my friend, apparently are not a sneaker head…These Jays look sick..I do wish the HDMI did something but these are SWEET
@Blastoise
I get what your saying about Minecraft being a huge seller, but it's not like Microsoft was desperate for money. And what I found odd was the announcement itself…Microsoft has an announcement for the Mojang acquisition but the rest of what they said was just "charlie brown adult talk"
I agree that Microsoft has plenty of money $86B to invest. But Microsoft has been making poor choices with their money…Prime example: Why take the Kinect out of the box. Microsoft has now made 2 separate classes of Xbox One owner (those with Kinect and those without). Some can use all the Xbox One features (snap, xbox on, record that), some can't…And all of that could have been avoided had Microsoft used a fraction of that $86B to just drop the Xbox One w/Kinect down to $399. If they...
Like you all, I don't understand Microsoft's end-game here. They're still going to support Minecraft on all devices, so I'd like to see they plan on doing.
@denawayne "They wonder around like a heard of sheep" ? You mean they "wander" (walk or move in a leisurely, casual, or aimless way)…If your going to insult somebody have the decency to spell correctly
this what you looking for? http://video.cnbc.com/galle...
Sorry, the description says Cramer and Microsoft but the videos are all random
Is this service supposed to take the place of the Xbox One or add to it?
Actually there has always been a discrepancy between Media Create and Famitsu… Look at the PS4 launch where Famitsu had 322,083 while Media Create had 309,154 ( http://gematsu.com/2014/02/... )
True…But sign me up for the Batman Bundle…It looks sick as hell just how its shown in the picture
@Mikelarry I'm going to disagree with you that it's PR Gold…But it's not a PR nightmare either. Look, so long as these articles stay on gaming based websites, it means nothing because everybody knows that Destiny is an exclusive. All this ad does is open the "loop-hole" ads for Sony and Nintendo to use. And I doubt this ad has enough time to get much traction where it's needed (websites where people may think Destiny is exclusive).
@Death Its been a while since Sony could afford to do this? Don't know where you been for the last 9+ months but Sony didn't need to do this type of thing and CoD:Ghosts, Madden, FIFA, and almost all other multi plats have sold better on PS4 than Xbox One
And the problem is like you said, Fire with Fire…Not just because Sony may or may not want to. In this day and age where corporations are scrapping for a larger cut of consumers shrinking disposable income, if Microsoft gets no back-lash for this, Sony will be forced to use similar tactics. So watch out for clever AC:Unity, Evolve, CoD:AW "loop-hole" ads.
Heck, you may even see a Sony RoTTR "loop-hole" ad specifically pointing out that the exclusivity on...
@Eonjay I agree that this wasn't a real ad…But you add this to the Twitter post of AC:Unity, CoD:AW, and Evolve being "exclusive" & the murky (at best) terms that were given about the "exclusivity" with RoTTR. And you know Microsoft is up to some shady stuff
It just seems like sour grapes from Microsoft. I mean correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Microsoft make this "Exclusive Marketing" advertising popular. I just wonder what Xbox fans would say if Sony started making "clever" end-around ads for CoD, AC:Unity, Madden, FIFA, etc. Those Xbox fans would probably call this evidence of Sony's "Deceptive Business Practices"
This pretty much confirms that Japan is going handheld and mobile, because we know the 3DS is doing better than the Vita and the Wii U is doing better than the PS4… BUT in Japan even the Vita is doing better than the Wii U, and the Vita is supposed to be dead
Yeah, "A King's Ransom" is a term meant to signify "a lot of treasure"…Just a play on words
